Ahh my first topic... uh... its probably been done too... but anyways, I recall sometimes that PSY artists will rap over other (non PSY) people's beats. I can only remember two right now: both Twiztid... "Light N Truth" which is off of "3000" by Dr. Octagon's album, done by I think Dan the Automator... and "Superstar" which is off Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001 track "Fuck You"... sooo my brains fried, what are some others? Not any Psychopathic Rydas of course and not just samples.

Yeah I guess if the sample is used for the main beat almost throughout or all, it'll work. Like "Life At Risk" uses that beat from The Wiz hahaha its dope as hell... so far I'll say that Life at Risk is my favorite PSY rapping over (most of) another's track.

I didn't think any one else had realized that...

I can't really think of any songs that they have sampled other than the ones mentioned, and tupacs "changes"

They do a remix to down with the clown thats totally a remix of "my angel is a centerfold" By J. Geils band in the live show sometimes...  And the American Psycho tour song "Rock on" is also a jacked beat...but idk the original song

"Somewhere theres a Waffle House thats severely understaffed right now" -OCJ to Scruffy watching a second stage act at the Gathering.

Yeah that was a good remix. They did it at The Happy Daze concert. And the rock on song I can't remember who did it but my uncle listened to the orginal song in the garage when I was a kid

First for it to be someone else's music it has to be 100% the other artists. Cherry pie, murder rap, assassins, let's go all the way, people are strange, etc are all copied beats but original music. The only ones I know(besides innercity days) are twiztid-waiting on xmas gifts(snoopdog) and icp-mom song(tupac). Can't really think of any others. No counting samples cause ALL rap music is samples unless the instruments are recorded live

So then the only 4 that are about 100% unaltered beats are "superstar", "light n truth", "mom song" and "waiting on Xmas gifts". In that case, the latter is the best one.

"People are strange" and "joker" are really hip hip covers/reinterpretations of classic rock tunes. The blaze track just had him repeating  G n R's chorus... shit I was watching Grown Ups and during the ending basketball game they play the tune which MDP is sampled from lol
