i can honestly see this album surpassing lotus if J dont come correct.. i actually wished there wouldnt be another lotus album cuz i feared their discography being tainted with a weak release… only time will tell tho..
Again, you base this off what? That horrible single? You have way too much faith in AMB. I refuse to take your comments about AMB seriously, as you are such a fan that they can’t, in your mind anyway, release anything other than classics, even though they suck. They could fart on a track and you’d be like “That was some great gas right there, top 5 farts of all time, they ripped it yo.” Even if they put out an album you honestly hated you would just tell yourself you love it, and even listen to it all the time, even though you hate it. You need to just take a step back and take a real hard look at AMB, and if you do it right, you will realize that there is nothing there to get excited about at all.
loooooll.. its more-so uncertainty in J than faith in amb.. honestly i was kinda disappointed with amb’s last 2 group efforts.. but the solo mixtape brought back some faith.. its funny tho cuz youre kinda right.. their album i dislike the most still gets spun often.. but its cuz i like bumpin their pre-psy discog when i play champions…

You really don’t think j will fail to deliver? After the way twiztid has killed shit lyrically? I have no doubt lotus will be the shit.

honestly the more i think about it i think he’ll absolutely school me & shut me the fuck up if he goes back to that conviction he had on opaque.. but honestly prior to those thoughts ive been let down with so much of the recent icp music i had a hard time seeing it..

AMB is mad talented. It’s like, show some damn respect for people that I’m damn sure work their asses off and actually do put effort into their music. Don’t have to like it, but at least show some respect. It’s a lack of respect.
Plus, “I’ll cut the head off the devil and throw it at you” came from an Esham track called Headhunter.
“I’ll turn the world upside down and make it rain hell” came from Esham’s Wake Tha Dead.
The Witch came from a lyric from Esham’s song Acid, “the witch jumped on my back, now it’s time for me to rhyme an acid rap”.
I’m pretty damn sure that ICP’s Fuck The World was inspired by Natas’s Fuck The World, though not exactly a rip off.
I mean, if you actually listen to ICP and Esham you notice a few things in ICP music that is taken straight from Esham.
So how is it that when ICP do it you claim they are paying homage but when AMB do anything even remotely similar to anything it’s them ripping people off? That is just plain out cherry picking hate right there buddy. And just because Young wicked got a mohawk very similar to Madrox’s does not mean he ripped him off either. Actually, I believe he had it before him, but Monoxide also had one too once… So Madrox ripped it off of Otis who ripped it off of Monoxide. And King Gordy ripped his horn rows off of mine. (by the way, since I created that clever name for his hairstyle, I’m going to claim the copyright to the term ‘horn rows’).
You know what? Just shut the fuck up and late us 17 fans anticipate this long awaited release, asshole.
Can’t wait!

I agree with Warlock, if Violent J keeps up that voice thing that he’s done all over MDP and shouts out random stupid shit like “I never had shooooooeeeeees” or “bust a nut like a wild banshee” I will be disappointed, but I still have high hopes for it. They will keep up. They better.
Bust a nut like a wild Banshee, that’s just some random bullshit that doesn’t even make sense. Like, I know they use the clown thing as an excuse to put random nonsensical rhymes in their music but is it really because of their gimmick or do they just suck that bad? I mean, how are they going to claim that they are clowns and should not be taken that seriously but at the same time cry about not being taken serious enough by award shows and such.
And me, being a fan who regularly (well, not too much these days, but still) listens to this shit, what does it say about me?

And another rant!
Was just thinking about this the other day.
If an act can create one bad album and have that one bad album ruin their whole catalog for you then perhaps their catalog wasn’t that good in the first place.
Just like if somebody does a horrible cover of a song and that cover ruins or ‘kills’ that song then perhaps that song just wasn’t that good in the first place.

nothing. unless your identity is somehow wrapped up in the soap opera-like twists and turns of musicians careers.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

haha hey i agree.. i never said it would completely ruin their catalog.. i just said it would be tainted.. hence not as illustrious as it currently is now.. to me at least haha

I’m just going to say that both ICP and AMB are paying homage. Hell, that whole mixtape Otis was paying so much homage to other rappers by not actually stealing their lyrics but putting them in clever punchlines sort of like a shout out.
“I feel like Tyler because my future is an odd one”
“I feel like a psycho with out the MTV debut”
You know what I mean. The later one not being as clever though.

They do it quite often, read up on their interviews or even watch the one they did on Fox.
My identity doesn’t, but it’s like, if I dislike those stupid nonsensical lines so much then why do I listen to it? My point wasn’t them contradicting them selves, just that I guess I listen to music where certain lines make me cringe. On certain days or moments I actually enjoy those lines. I guess I’m saying that I shouldn’t bitch about it if I’m still going to listen to it.

okay, thats great, but clever punchlines are a dime a dozen.
Not really. You should know this, since you claim that they sound so much like the generic untalented no name lame ass opening home town juggalo acts that those generic untalented no name lame ass opening home town juggalo acts usually never have any clever punch lines while AMB does have clever punch lines.
And fuck a comma bitch!!

I’d say he was because I know there was another Tyler reference on that mixtape just can’t remember what he said but he never said anything bad about Tyler. I’m sure he’s a Tyler fan. Plus, Tyler has really great lines too. “I give no shits like sittin’ down pissin” or “the devil doesn’t wear prada, I’m clearly in a fucking white T” or “I’m not crazy, I’m a fucking table!” Can’t wait to see how his little story ends, thought Wolf was supposed to be the end to the trilogy but it was just a prequel to the trilogy. Man, Tyler also makes very amazing videos. He is a creative genius. I mean, not just his videos because some of his videos are just random funny shit, but he’s made some amazing videos for other artists.
