It depends on which song it is. I HATE Explosions from Lost, but I do love Fury. I listen to Neighbours Are Fighting with cringe, but I do enjoy I’ll Keep My Hatchet. And while I have mixed feeling about Haunted By The Devil, the thing that annoys me the most is Young Wicked’s singing in the chorus, besides that, that song is definitely a solid one. I like Who U Know as well.

But apparently I’m also one of the few that really enjoyed Lost.

edit: Oh, and on a sidenote – I somehow really liked the Trapped EP by Twiztid. Actually, in contrast of most of the new stuff by Twiztid, this EP gets a regular spin in my CD player / playlist. It’s fun for what it is.

I’m not a fan in general, but it works for some songs. others it doesn’t. FWIW, I think of songs like Neighbors are Fighting, Explosions, etc more like Real Underground Baby than a real “trap” song.

I mean, I think the beats on missing link were hot fucking steamy shitty fucking garbage that destroyed any chance of enjoying the lyrics or delivery. With the exception of Falling Apart which has a great beat.

And then I loved the beeping and explosions in W.T.F. but that’s not really what I think of when I think trap. 

But, as it pertains to link, yeah, that was bad. But we’re in good shit territory now. Can’t wait for FFF (:

I agree, I’m not a fan of the trap sound they have been using quite often over these last few years. I totally respect that ICP has had a very long career and they are always evolving and that sort of thing, so that’s not an issue for me. But what I don’t like is that they used to have a sound that was totally their own, thanks in large part to MEC and eventually a few other trusted producers as well working side by side with ICP. But then MML came out and the beats and overall production sounded a whole lot like a bunch of other bullshit out there these days, which is a phrase that used to never be able to be said about ICP.
