Please dont get me wrong….mike P did a great job. its just that the wraith….that was the 6th and quite frankly it seems sacrilegious that he didnt do the music to the last all important card.

I understand the reason…but man…the 6th wouldnt have been totally different with mikes music.

I know he did a remix album, but still…..when I listen to all their albums from the beginning….and then jump to the newer ones they did with mike……mike e clark IS insane clown posse as much as J and shaggy.

the stuff he comes up with is horrorcore at its best.

nothing can be done about it now…but I always wondered if any juggalos ever thought about it.

they would never do it…..but I wish somehow they would return to the wraith the 6th and do a mike e clark “alternate reality” version where they redid it with mike.

Musically THE WORST jokers card ever. Super drag that the 3rd member of ICP wasnt there to hook it up. That stung. MEC and the carnival are ONE

Mike E Clarks homies remix sucked.  I’m happy he didn’t do the 6th. It wouldn’t be the same. I’m happy he did the tempest and bpb and even mdp. But the cool shit about Shangri La and Hells Pitt is that mec didn’t touch it.  Makes it different.

Am I the only motherfuck who CAN NOT listen to the Tempest? I love a few songs from the calm, and a lot of the MDP BPB songs, and even The Eye of the Storm, but there is not one song on the Tempest I enjoy. I always hated when they ended shows with “If I was a Serial Killer”

No, you aren’t the only one @piggofdoom .  I like a few tracks from there, my fave being The Tower. Still though, when ICP got away from their Dark Carnival theme, the music definitely suffered. Eye of the Storm may be the worst album they’ve ever released.

I actually really dug Shangri-La, and Mike P’s spin on things.  Who knows why MEC really didn’t do the 6th, but if you really listen to Shangri-La on decent speakers or headphones, maybe you’ll appreciate the intricacies of the production.

Just my .02.

And help construct the Lotus Pod ! All for free !

The Wraith albums were the shit. Production wise it was great. Shangri-lah had a lot of rock influence but they made it work. Hells Pit had more rap to it and they could have had added more to it. I don’t know what MEC would have done but Mike P did a great job. I hope the dude got paid.

someone made a thread a couple months ago accusing mike p.. at the end of the day tho the only one who’s to blame is psychopathic for not getting that shit cleared.. especially when they were so adamant on clearing samples back than..

I think Mike P did a great job and his production on Hell’s Pit was great too.

@scottied I actually really enjoyed Eye of the storm. Not sure why… Scatterbrain and Wind Me Up are great. In fact, Wind Me Up is one of my fave “New” songs. I just wish J’s voice wasn’t so raspy and fucked up that he could actually perform it live.

I agree! also…I was worrying with “the wraith” that ICP were getting a tad too regular rap sounding musically.
it sounded….prissy almost…and advante garde. it didnt sound wicked or horrocore at all.

I need to hear those horror/carnival sound effects….the horror themes…the crazy shaggy high pitched scream stuff….and jays patented clowish laugh…..man it really does it for me like the first chorus of the tempest when he is doing that awesome clown laughing thing…. and then on “the blasta” during that chorus he does more of that clown laughing stuff. it totally works.

Na, Mike P killed it on The Wraith, especially Hell’s Pit. It was just place and time. I don’t think MEC could have captured that magic.

Once again, if you believe in the Multiverse, then y’all can rest assured that in some other dimension, Mike Clark DID produce the Wraith! Every possible outcome exists! There’s dimensions where Esham produced it… some have Kid Rock as the Fourth Member of ICP! DJ Premier laced the clowns with a few tracks… Itz all happened
