Once they announced Mighty Death Pop they pretty much forgot everyone else on the label, seems like.  Blaze, Boondox, ABK,  psy really didn’t do shit for any of their albums.  Just hoping he isn’t jumping ship too, even though I’d understand if he did.

The understanding I have gotten is that blaze and abk jumped on board through Twiztid. They’ll probably leave with them. Though I hope Not. And those Leaflets they put inside cd’s go a long way. Main reason I even checked twiztid, abk, and blaze out kore thoroughly is because of adds like those. And i also get shit loads of promo leaflets for all things Psy impmside my hatchetgear purchases. GOTJ info, cd announcements, etc. this lack of hype people speak of eludes me.

You’re right, even after Boondox was off the label they kept sending out those psychopathic samplers with Boondox on it, but they really stuck it to their guys with vids, how many videos are there from MDP now?  And wouldn’t it have been nice to see Drive-By open at least once on the MDP tour?  It’s a rough deal in the music industry since the album sales aren’t where the money comes from anymore (piracy), and the industry has had to change accordingly (merch, always psy’s strong point),  I’d have taken one less MDP vid for one Abominationz vid, but I’m not in the know so I guess someone knows what they’re doing.  I got a lot of love for ABK cuz the guy treated me really well once, and sometimes that’s all it takes to promote your shit.

Good stuff. Not monumental, but good. If you haven’t listened to any Killa in awhile like me, its refreshing to hear that Lumbee Lisp again lol. Love that Native Funk.

i didint hear about abk jumping ship with twiztid and blaze…this is something abk is just speculating or happening….and fairly good vid, i love how abk has evolved as an artist he has stuck to his native american character and has turned it into something so beautiful…im in love with the song peace pipe and his album the medicine bag is just sick and when he does features he just comes in as this native american street warrior….hes really evolved over the years he didnt start out nearly as talented as he is now….
