@DOMOdomoJedi92
Blahzay's allegory falls apart under scrutiny when you consider that when referring to anybody who is a former employee in any capacity then you're not talking about gifts. Being compensated for the work you do is not a gift, it's a payment.
And in the history of working America, typically, when the money becomes disproportionate to the work being put in or if the work stops altogether then, yes, the boss is the asshole. The employee has the right to to find new opportunities with a new boss, which leads me to one of my favorite sayings:
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

what about all the promotion and free publicity icp gave, i believe that is what she meant. go peep out some tech n9ne lyrics about former artists under his wing. they stuck their necks out for them, even if they had a bad reception from their respective fan bases.

Yeah. That's how I understood it too.

Well, see, I'm a firm believer that nothing is truly free. And that ties into the business practice of putting an investment into a product that you're trying to push. Artists are supposed to make money for the label, pushing the product is what the label does which benefits not just from music sales but merchandise as well. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, and its a good business model, I think.
But what I'm saying is, a business relationship is just that. The opportunity for success, I think, is the first and only real gift. Everything else is dependent directly on work, and good work has a way of speaking for itself. I'm not even talking specifically about Psy or MNE or Strange or whoever, I'm just throwing out food for thought to try to give people perspective.

imo, all this mess is bullshit that we dont need to worry about. i will still listen to icp or twizitd no matter what label they are on. even if they were signed to shady/aftermath, cuz labels dont make artists, the artists make the artists, especially when they have been well established as artists for years. the fans are the ones dividing the two companies beyond what would of happened if social media didnt exists. we should want the artists to come together to make good music, not seperate them. with that said i wanna give a big fuck you to the dumb sheep that want people to pick a side, and when its not the side they chose, make them feel like they are wrong for choosing their "arch enemy". all that we should have a choice in is if we like the shit they are releasing to us or not.

how many times are you gonna want icp to say "hey dont forget to check out twiztid, they are fresh".
at some point you dont have to promote them as much, especially once they have built their foundation. they still kept us informed with the projects other artists on the label were working on, what more do you need.
but i guess you would rather have icp telling everyone to check out their fresh new artists, even though they been there for 15 years

Aside from the actual music, I don't get much into the TMZ style personal life shit so maybe this post is dumb. But going off of those screen shots, who are these people I'm seeing in the screen shots (Ray Ortiz, Giovani Caplstani,Chris Frost, etc.) and what is this shit?

This doesn't really work though. If your contract doesn't say psy will make you videos and they pump out 3 videos your first year and then you ask where is my video for year two, but they say they ain't focusing on you cuz the new dude is getting videos then you get upset that they ain't giving you videos, that's on you.
The only thing you are owed is what is agreed upon in your contract. If they do more and then expect you to step up later, that's on you.

Who asks permission from a potential patner's parent before they smash? Draconian world view. Impractical, patriarchal, creepy and condescending. She is over the age of consent, so the consent is hers to give. Not her fathers. If anyone asked me if they could bang my adult daughter, I would be incredibly shocked.
I dunno, maybe an adult who wants to keep their job?
Hold different ideals all you want, but if he did it my way he would still be on psy. Not just a 3rd string act on MNE.

hahaha damn! The homie just played the Vengence EP for me earlier today and I noticed all YW's shit talk about being ready for war and finishing beef and all that nonsense, then I come home and swing by here and the first thing I see are screenshots of him copping pleas ''but..I already talked to Nene. Guys stop, for my daughter's sake if nothing else.'' Hahaha Too fucking priceless.
This is going to get real interesting. We all know what happened last time Myzery's crew felt slighted by Twiztid's crew. And this time they have nothing to lose. Best case scenario, they get closer to PSY from it all. Worst case, they piss PSY off from getting involved, but they're still catching everyone's attention from it all and getting their name's out there. It's win-win for them. Unless MNE straight up stomps them. This'll be interesting.
