After the initial shock I really though about it and
I get it, NIPSEY HUSSLE made a mixtape for a $100 each, sold 1000 of them.
Jay-Z admitted he bought a 10th of those though! Nip netted $100,000 from it.
Then Nipsey Hussle made another record and sold them for $1,000 each and
actually sold 60, this time on his own accord, Nip netted $60,000.
The only thing is he had a big fan base and industry peers. Good luck on your
grind to get that feature recoup back homie.

A thought occured to me. This would be a great way to make money for that doc they are talkin about making. Put it out that icp is doing collabs on the cheap. Icp gets paid and no name rappers get their dreams fulfilled. What up and comer wouldnt want J or Shaggs on a track?

I don’t think ICP does features with “No Name” rappers because it would kind of dilute the Brand.
The more obtainable you are, the lower the price goes when you do guest work. The more No names
you do work with, the less “Established” artist want to collab in fear of looking like they falling off.

Weird, word. Are they going for scrub points working with these cats? Doing a charity freebie? Charging them out the ass after being begged for long enough.
Either way this song is fucking awful. Shaggs sounds well enough, the beats OK, drums are cool but Fisted Butts is the worst. That chorus is the most cliche thing.
PS Thug Pretty was fucking dope. Madrid and Mono murder it. I turn it off after its past them though.

Thats why it strikes me as odd. Be like Mick Jagger doing some backing vocals for a garage band.
I think they are doing a pretty good job of diluting their brand on their own though.

Yea these artists who are deep underground (and usually mediocre at best) and yet manage to collab with the biggest names in the underground on every other track baffle me as well. Like Fisty Cuffs, Bukshot or Bloodstepp (although some have put in more work than others). I always wonder whether they just have the right amount of money or the right connections. Probably both.
Fisty Cuffs seems to be close to Mike P. Mike P produces a great deal of his shit it seams. And Cuffs was even featured on a track on the latest Zug Izland album, even together with ABK. My best guess is that Shaggy was just doing Mike P a favor with that collab.

“Delusional” from that group was Jumpsteadys hype man and they even traded verses on each others albums.. im surprised we werent subjected to more psy/dwb collabs.. they mightve made a beat for twiztid or somethin’ and got that collab in return..

Never knew of Fisty, lol, until this song but, as people pointed out he has been around for a while now.
Long enough to establish connections and genuine friendships with people that are “On” such as Mike P.
Now that you mention it. It seems very plausible that maybe he just purchased the vocals from someone
and never really recorded it with 2Dope to begin with, hmmmmm….
