did he say WHY the check bounced? im pretty sure he said he didnt know...could Psy be broke? its possible but nobody knows for sure except you know..the people that work there and people like you and Cuck Reeves trying to make this a major headline when you have no idea what the truth is...nobody does except the people involved...

and yeah..pretty sure it was common knowledge by now they didnt let him perform for being late due to his van breaking down...shitty and makes Psy look petty? sure..but again nobody knows the details as facts other than..he was late and was told he couldnt perform..could there be more to why? sure..could it be them being petty assholes? sure..do you know? 100% doubtful...

as far as Shapeshifter...i thought he said at his seminar this year that he could either release it as is on Native World, or take another year working on new beats...

i dont see an issue with him doing more stuff with Blaze/MNE...im sure if there was an issue, than Psy wouldnt have let him do the Drive By shows, which many people thought they were gonna fire him then for doing it...or that he said hes gonna do another Drive By album...i believe he even stated he still wants to stay at Psy...

so..im confused as to the issues?

F.T.F.O.M.F. almost certainly had Young Wicked's fingerprints all over it.  No way they scrapped all of his beats and flipped that whole album in 5 months and still had it sounding that polished.

But you know, you've got to take the things he says with a grain of salt.

I'm glad killa didn't dodge any questions, he laid all that shit out on the table.

How many people actually listened to the whole thing?  I personally just sat and listened to the entire 2 or so hours. Killa was laughing the entire time and said that he has nothing but love for psychopathic. And MNE.  He thinks the drama is stupid.  They made mistakes, but it wasn't malicious.  The Psypher was supposed to be recorded in front of the live crowd.  Regardless of the reason, it wasn't possible for him to do that.  Shit happens.  And he still showed up at the show once he knew for sure he wouldn't be performing just to show his support for the label and fans.

And although it is against the spirit of this thread, some positive stuff that he said:

He said that he doesn't have a lot of money in savings because he puts a lot into Native World (he built a recording studio recently), had to get his van towed 200 miles, and had an issue with the check so he wasn't able to swing the trip to D.C.

If Psy was completely broke, they wouldn't be able to wire him money less than a day after they realized the check bounced.

He's going to try to run Native World as a legitimate label with tours and promotion.  He has some pretty good artists on there. (just please not in thin jewel cases with photocopies. I can live with that if I have to, but still)

He also said that Shapeshifter is 90% done, another album from before medicine bag is 90% done, Psy doesn't own the rights to either of those so he is free to release them on Native World, he is working on a new Drive-by album with Blaze, and he's trying to contact Bonez because he wants to release the Hav Nots album which is done aside from Bonez's verses.  Perfectly happy not being a millionaire.  He just wants to make music.  Bonez got the shortest end of the stick from the whole beef because of how it was laid out despite not doing anything wrong and keeping his mouth shut.

He even addressed why he didn't release a statement on his facebook.  He doesn't run the facebook page.  It's just for posting where he's going to be performing and he doesn't update it.

And he gave his 2 cents on the Young Wicked situation.  Which was that ICP shouldn't have even mentioned it.
