that, is a real fuckin pity.  wasnt all that many familiars at the show, and even less whose names i actually know.  

story time.  

after shelling out a massive amount of dough to get my car fixed up, i put in two hours of boring but easy driving, and arrive on the scene.  i say hi to a few ninjas in the line, batman f’rinstance, and then dip back out to light up.  

you basicly cant even smoke cigarettes in public any more in springfield, so finding a spot to get high was a chore, but i managed.  sadly, no juggalos were around to partake, but, shrug.  

after some cold weather line-standing, i get up into the venue as the local openers are kickin their thing.  them being rated r, who i guess are newish and ive never heard of, followed by p.win, who ive heard about for a while but never caught before.  both did fairly well, i could tell that the locals in the crowd knew of em already.  

next was ouija, who i cant say is my shit.  dunno, hes… sumn.  weird.  following that was lyte, who threw a more or less by-the-numbers hiphop show.  both of em got the crowd about as hyped as the openers did, plus twenty percent, maybe.  

shaggy, and clay, lit it the fuck up.  mainly shaggs.  

shit was bombtastic.  if/when you get the opportunity, make it a point to catch his solo show.  

seen his shit from the gathering?  it was pretty much like that, only with a waaay smaller crowd and venue.  right up in your face.
