It’s a lazy appeal to ethos and also ANOTHER logical fallacy that wouldn’t be tolerated in an academic setting. They are leaning on this as some sort of pillar to justify their views rather than having to use logic and reasoning.

 

I mean, let’s be completely honest here. This isn’t about conversing, learning, sharing ideas. It’s not about swaying opinions or opening up eyes. It’s not even about what’s best for our country. It’s about spite. It’s about ‘winning’ against the other side because their pride means more to them than honesty or the well being of this country. They supported, didn’t vote, but supported somebody that they knew was trash because they just could not handle giving a victory to the other side. Now they jump through hoops to justify supportingTrump. Because the idea of the disgust and hatred the other side has when they praise Trump gives them so much more satisfaction. 

 

The sad part is, my side forum when they talk about politics they completely make this place look like a fucking joke. Like, It’s why you just shouldn’t engage with them anymore, Pigg. You’re smarter than this, this place is a fucking mud pit of conversation. It’s a shit show. It completely makes the stereotype of juggalos being dumb seem more valid. And don’t hold either on a pedestal because they brag about their education because they obviously aren’t anymore intelligent, let alone educated on the topic, than the average Joe. As I have stated before, I use pure computational and mathematical logic and reasoning daily. If you really want to start breaking this all down into predicate logic, then we can do that. Note, I use first-order predicate logic since all other orders are derivative and require induction and assumption. I am not sure where you get that I do not use logic. Maybe it is that I don’t use certain forms for inductive and deductive reasoning. I am not really sure.

And you are wrong. For me, this is ALL about swaying opinions and opening eyes. It IS what I believe is best for our country. And I do not jump through hoops to defend Trump. How many times have I said that I disagree with certain actions of his. Even after I has explicitly disagreed and I showed data as to why Trump was wrong, you still went on to say I was hoop jumping. I just don’t see the spite coming from my end. Maybe from others.

And you are correct. This forum is a joke when it come to politics. Politics is my second life and nothing said here by me or others compares to anything really political. It is more fun and games with a purpose. Like I said, for me, this is ALL about swaying opinions and opening eyes. Not the opinions and eyes of any of the very few that regularly post. They are all irrelevant to what I am truly doing. I am posting to the hundreds that are not posters or even members that read this thread daily. They are the opinions and the eyes. I love staying calm and collected in expressing my opinions and letting the opposing opinions just explode with direct personal attacks like “you’re a turd sucker” etc. It lets those hundreds of readers see what kind of people the opposing opinions really are. Not all. There are a few on here that like to engage and give their opposing ideas and opinions in a good way. I respect those and I do not attack them but encourage the conversation.

You seem to think you know how I think and why I do what I do. You have posted several times about this in the past. But you have been completely wrong on almost all accounts most of the time. I would like to understand how you come to the conclusions about me that you do.
