I am still picking up pieces of my wig off the floor, as it was completely blown apart by the show last night.Twiztid and Blaze KILLED it!
The night did start off on a bit of a sour note.
I got to the venue at 9:15pm, about an hour after doors, and both Lex the Hex Master and Boondox had already finished their sets! No local openers, Lex went on right after doors. Very rare for rap show to start that quick.
Luckily, I get to see this tour four more times this week, and I'm sure a lot of the shows on the weekend will begin later.
As Juggalos waited for Blaze to take the stage, I went and snapped a few photos of the merch booth. A few things of note- Cd singles were 10 bucks, full lengths and EPs were 20 dollars. Lex's cd had a special price of 15$. Also, this was the first time I've seen Blaze sell PSY's Gangs Rags Extended at the merch booth in a damn minute! Check it-

Next up, Blaze Ya Dead Homie and his heavy set hype man hit the stage.
Blaze's set was a little short, clocking in at just over half an hour, but the big homie still crammed in a dope mix of Dead man classics, and new shit off The Casket Factory.
Not sure who his hype man is now, but I thought he complimented Blaze well on stage.
Crowd got really live for "Nasty".
And Blaze is once again using "Anybody Killa's rubber after him". No more name substitutions.
Here are a few snaps of Blaze schoolin' it-

What really made the 2 hour drive worth it last night was the 90 minute set TWIZTID put in. Jamie and Paul were way on point, especially Madrox. There were a few moments last night where I was seriously impressed with Jamie's rhyming skills, which is saying something, since I've been a fan of his for almost 20 years.
Twiztid chatted with the audience a ton during the show, and seemed to be having a ball on stage. One of the funnier moments of the night is when they had a contest to see who in the crowd could give the best middle finger.
I'm sure it helped being the first stop on the new tour, even Lex the Hex master was in super good mood when he chatted with fans in the lobby after the show and signed shit.
Twiztid's set list was fuckin fresh this time out, highlights included-
Boogieman
White Trash Wit Tat-2's
Different
We Don't Die
Bussyoheadopen
Afraid of Me
Hydro
Breakdown
Bad Side
A Little Fucked Up
They brought out Blaze with them for like 5 tracks towards the end of the set. Surprisingly, they did not perform Triple Threat.
Some pics-

Cool review as usual homie. The two things that stand out to me are:(1) Holy shit they kicked "White Trash Wit Tat 2's"?!
(2) Holy shit they were charging $20 for an LP/EP on tour?!

Thanks for sharing. Thats a great setlist ... White Trash Wit Tat 2's!?And $20 Canadian is a little over $15 US.
Ya, White Trash Wit Tat 2's was THE highlight of the night for me. I can't remember seeing them do that live before.
And the Canadian dollar went in the shitter since Twiztid last came up here, not surprised they bumped the prices.
Still, it was a little painful to shell out 40 dollars to obtain the Casket Maker EP and Drive By's EP last night. I can't find those anywhere else though, so it's still worth it to me.

are twiztid that hard up for cash that they started selling domino's pizza's at their shows??or was the venue they booked an actual domino's pizza store?
lol
Believe it or not Domino's Pizza officially sponsored the show in Barrie.
Check out this pic of the tour flyer, there is the Domino's logo right next to Majik Ninja Entertainment, on top.
Corporate synergy at it's finest!
Side note- the tour stop last night in London was dope, even though the venue was corny. It ran really late, and I didn't get back to Toronto til 6 AM, so I scrapped plans to drive out to Brantford this afternoon to see the show there tonight.
Snapped some good pics yesterday in London, I will post that show review here in the forum real soon.
The show Twiztid has in Toronto tomorrow is only 30 minutes from my front door, hella stoked for that shit!!

I was going to pound out a separate review for the London show, but since I'm about to hit up the Toronto show, I'll just combine those two reviews into one massive thread when I get home later.
Thought it would be fun to write those two reviews around 3am EST tonight, as I should be blitzed out of my gourd at that point.
Gonna rock some Blaze facepaint tonight.
For any ninjas going to the show tonight-I just called The Rockpile Club, there are many local openers, then the main tour line-up starts at 11pm, with Lex the Hex Master taking the stage.

What up ninjas, show last night in Toronto was the shit! Unfortunately a facepaint debacle had my ass arriving a little late, I caught the tail end of Blaze's set and saw Twiztid murder it.
I missed Lex and Boondox, luckily tonight I have one more opportunity to see them. I'm headed out to Hamilton to catch the tour one final time.
My London, Toronto, and Hamilton show reviews will be put into a mega thread called "My Juggalo Invasion Easter Weekend".
Should have that shit up tomorrow.
Bought some dope merch last night, collectors might be interested in what I discovered.
