they should re-release the entire LP - put the reissue tracklist with the 4 original leftovers at the end all remastered
maybe leave ROC on Murder murder just for kicks
thats a copy I would totally buy. remastered with all tracks from both albums, no censoring and ROC back? I wonder if psy would let them.
I wonder what they own and what they dont come to think of it IP and copyright wise come to think of it

dat. prior to that, analog tape.
the reason the term 'master' is confusing, is cuz its used for different things. noun, verb, and adjective.
as a 'master recording', just consider it the finalized version of the work, that is used as the master template for all future dupes.
i could swear that twiztid said they own the mechanical rights for their albums, now.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

It's like, you got the Mix and the Mix is setting the volumes right, EQing the separate tracks (drum track, violent track vocal track etc.) compression, effects etc.
The master is the same thing, but EQing and compressing the songs as a whole rather than the separate tracks. You could get by releasing something with a really good mix, but if you add a really good master to it then it pops that much more. Like Whiney13 said, you can't really add a bass line to it or anything, but you control how much of the bass there is. Or how much Treble there is, or how many mids there are. And you can fix it cause there might be a part where the bass seems too silent while another part is just over powered by bass so use a multiband compressor to up the bass when it gets too low and lower the bass when it gets to high. And a plain old compressor would be used to up the volume of the whole song when it gets too low and lower the volume when it gets to high. Typically you want to make the song as loud as you can with out distorting and with out making it sound like a brick. It's tricky, and the methods to doing it vary from song to song. And this is the simple complicated explanation.
To remaster is to redo the mastering process. They didn't have the same resources and technology back then that they have now so it'd make the songs sound a lot more crisp and clean.

Mastering is the same thing, ...
'mastering' [gerund] results in a better 'master' [noun]. but you can have a master recording without going through the mastering process.
another matter of over-applying terms across slightly differing purposes.
also... even in a remaster, you can always overdub.

twiztid because violent j is too busy eating cheeseburgers
It's true. Every time you order something on Hatchet Gear, Violent J eats cheeseburgers for two to three weeks. Then mails it out.
lmao
*giggles* I swear he's gonna have a heart attack one day.

I'll think of something better to put in here, possibly.
