I like it. I have always liked Twiztid’s more “rock inspired” stuff.

Reminds me of mirror mirror

I should know this, but I don’t. Does Twiztid have a new producer and/or studio band that they didn’t previously use? Of course, they’ve done rock stuff before, but this song and “Are You Out Of Your Mind” definitely have a different production style and sound. Both sound fantastic. Twiztid keeps getting more comfortable with just doing straight rock songs (their style at least) and Juggalos seem to dig it much more than when ICP started cranking up the rock side of things around the AJB era through The Wraith. Gotta say though, “Psychomania” is fucking awesome. I saw another thread where there seemed to be mixed feelings on it. I think it’s original, weird, and oddly catchy. It’s like a new school spin on something that would not have seemed out of place on Freekshow.

Nope. Now if you said you didn’t listen to the new Kanye, oooooh we might have to rethink that one.

It’s also difficult for me to get into post-PSY Twiztid and Blaze. There are a few good ones. But it just doesn’t ring true the way it used to…. -fills corncob pipe, rocks chair-

I hate “Down With Us”. It’s an ICP diss, no opinion on that.

“The Deep End” and “Breakdown” are good.

Still miss that PSY sound.

Ain’t that a shame?

Nope, that’s a statement and a theory but the validity of it is still up for question.

I just love saying “your opinion is wrong” to people. Because it’s a paradox phrase. Opinions are theories so they can never be true nor false… by me saying that they are wrong, it fucks people all up. I use it on difficult customers at work sometimes. My wife thinks it’s hilarious.

I have absolutely no problem with Twiztid doing rock songs from time to time, I think they do a great job mixing it in with their style. This song just isn’t one of those cases for me, though. I actually like how it starts, but by the time they go into the “Whoahh ohh ohh oohh” shit I can’t help feel like I’ve basically heard this song a million times by a million other bands. That is a statement so rarely said about Twiztid, if ever. Though another positive about it aside from the intro is that I think the production is top notch. It really sounds great, and they did perform it well. Just that lack of originality is a killer for my Twiztid boner.

I saw mixed feelings about “Psychomania”, but I’m not mixed about it at all. I think it is a really great song. It brings a bit of a new element but still feels like Twiztid. I thought both Jamie and Mono killed their verses big time for different reasons. Jamie brought the crazy flow, and Mono did too at parts but I thought Monoxide really got into character for this one and it was great. The chorus too is classic. If they’re still pulling shit like this out of their ass at this point in their career, that’s pretty impressive to me.

Nice, thanks for the info. I am not familiar with Davey Suicide, so will check some shit out he’s done or produced. I wonder what other producers they used for the album? We’ll find out I’m sure. Has anybody heard the new single “Kill Somebody” that came out with the pre-order bundles? I think it’s fucking DOPE. Much like I thought about “Psychomania”, it’s one of those songs that’s totally Twiztid but it’s still a bit of a new sound for them. That hook is killer, no pun intended. Speaking of “Psychomania”, I see on the official tracklist it’s listed as featuring all MNE artists. So that will be interesting since on the version of it floating around, it’s just Jamie and Monoxide.

Me too, it’s a very strong song. I’ve been playing it on some good speakers and it’s the shit.
