To those that picked up the 15th Anniversary Special Edition of Twiztids Freek Show CD during the tour, was there anything different with it besides the front and back cover? Was it remastered? I haven't been able to find anybody that has opened theirs to see if the booklet or songs are any different They should have re-released it with the live band versions of the songs on it, at least that way it would have been different... Well maybe they did? There are a few copies of the CD on Ebay but I can't pay $30.00 for a re-released CD with just a different cover and nothing else.

No there is no extra or bonus tracks. I opened mine and listened to it. The audio is distorted too. I can see why they didn't put it up on Twiztid shop because people would want there money back. Here are pics of the insert and CD. http://s1291.photobucket.com/u.....ry/TWIZTID

Pretty weak they didn't remaster or add any "bonus flavor" to it

No, nothing new except cover, back, and physical CD art. Doesn't bother me though, but then again I was actually able to make it to the show. The CD was just another treat in an overall awesome night.

Thanks for the pics. That sucks that they put no effort into the re-release. I think i'll pass on picking that up. I've always felt that the album needed some remastering or fine tuning, there is just something about it that never sounded right to me so I had hoped they did something to improve besides just changing the artwork. I guess they just needed some extra cash.

Your welcome...Yeah wish they would of made it sound better and did some special stuff for it. Looking forward to the ICP Riddle Box 20th at least they are trying...lol. It was pretty much pointless to re-release it. Wonder if the mutant re-release is going to be the same way.

Well they did say that Mutant was going to at least be remastered. I can't wait for Riddle Box, I hope they turned the vocals up a bit on it and cleaned up the instrumentals. I for one am super excited for it, I do believe it is the only Joker Card that has never been re-released, due to the fact that Jive owned it so they could never do anything with it.

The re-release may have been because the defjam freekshow is out of print. Still should've remastered it. It didn't have the quality of previous psychopathic releases. As for mutant I'm sure it will be completely remixed and sound like a different album. Playing with a live band is what brought that about.

That is very true, I totally forgot that Freek Show was on Def Jam. It would have been nice if they used the band on the Freek Show re-release too, like they did during the shows. That would have been kind of cool.
