It probably would have worked better as a tv series because trying to cram 7 (main books) into a movie DOES NOT WORK. There were a lot of references to pick up on though.

They also could’ve totally ran with the “horn of eld final quest” scenasrio as well. But they fucked even that idea up.
There’s always a chance for a reboot. Ka is a wheel.

they had planned for the movie to be the jumpoff point for a tv series, but the movie sucked so bad the only thing I’ve heard now is that the series might still happen and completely pretend like the movie never happened and try to tell the whole story from there.

Yeah and they want to keep Idris and the kid who played Jake and maybe Matthew Mconaghey. I like the dude but he wasn’t my idea of a good Man in Black. Not awful, tho. Idris did fine and I wouldn’t mind having him back. The kid was decent as far as kids go. I was expecting much worse.
Jesse from Breaking Bad is still pining to play Eddie. It is perfect casting to me.
Since the racial dynamic has been changed between Roland and Sushanna, what if they just swapped her with a white girl? Look how well Jennifer Jason Leigh played Daisy Domergue in Hateful Eighth. Of course, the actress playing Sushanna will have to balance much more honor and kindness with the despicable dangerous racism.
