They haven’t sold me yet. I actually view artists that I enjoyed much more before (Boondox, Blaze, The ROC, King Gordy, Twiztid themselves) in a much less interesting light. And the new guys haven’t won me over, either.

Prove me wrong, folks. I haven’t given up on yall yet.

It’s going to be A.X.E. they did the motocity horror con with them and been tour with them. Personally I think A.X.E. could thrive independently but if there signed power to them and they’ll continue being devestating

I heard that mne signed Dry Skalp from the now extinct Dandruff Boyz…Him and Abk are gonna do a collab album called “Native Scrubicans”!

Mne is on a kick right now of doing crazy collab albums ever since Lars got a positive buzz.

And what the fuck is good ninja! Welcome back

That would be cool, but what exactly would A.X.E. have to gain from signing that deal?  They already tour Psy, MNE, and LSP, have a fairly extensive merch store, and Bill even owns his own church that he converted into a meet-up spot for their local fans.  “The Church of Xul” as they like to call it.  Their recordings also sound clean which leads me to believe they already have a good recording set-up.

It could be as simple as a 1 or 2 album deal to try to expand their audience.

Theres a fairly significant portion of juggalos who, as far as underground rap goes, only really listens to people associated with PSY in one way or another; be it frequent collabs, having been on the label, etc. Touring with MNE. PSY. Etc helps for sure but it’s just like with Oujia, a lot of cats digging him now had no idea who the fuck swag toof even was before he got signed. Same with gorilla voltage, how man people can say they heard of the damned dirty apes before they got picked up by MNE?

I’m not saying that’s a great reason but hey, people have signed record deals for stupider reasons.

True, I wasn’t thinking about it like that.  I’m one of those guys who always digs deep to find new artists, but I hadn’t really considered that a good percentage of people don’t do that.  In that case, that would be a good move for A.X.E.  In terms of talent, they’re right up there with the rest of the roster.  Including Twiztid.

I thought he is already on Spange music. You know, the one with the earthworm logo that forms an “S”. And the ads, a very bored person says Spange *sigh* music.

Shit like this really makes me miss “the good ol days”. Gnomesayin?

The split between the clowns and the twiztid upset a lot of people. I personally thought it was a good business move. In the sense of 2 different labels building and expanding 1 solid fan base?

Basically if a beef would have never bubbled up would psychopathic and mne tour together?

I think the image of that is amazing and would carry the nostalgia everyone grew to love.

And at this point I’m REALLY high and rambling.lol

Its just like any other kind of divorce.  Rarely would both sides still stay friends.  It just doesn’t happen….I’m pretty sure Twiztid wanted to leave PSY LONG before 2012..

Behind the scenes it prolly was hella shit talk from both sides, pretty sure VJ had nothing to do with any of the Twiztid albums after the Mirror Mirror/Green Book era.  Its that friend you talk shit about, but still hangout with sometimes…..yeah that kinda thing….

On Wikipedia it says that ICP co-wrote 2 songs on H&H, plus another one co-written by J and one by Shaggy. If that’s true, that’d be really odd, given that Twiztid were already so autonomous at the time and that ICP weren’t even rapping on the album. Especially Shaggy co-writing a song with Twiztid seems hard to believe.

I can’t find any other source for this other than Wikipedia, though. So it’s probably bullshit anyways. Can anybody confirm or refute this?
