Gorilla Voltage is ClockworC and Mr. Grey. They used to go by the name The Damned Dirty Apes. They addressed the name change on Facebook:

Merry Christmas motherfucks! We appreciate every single one of you giving us a chance! Huge shout to Twiztid and the whole MNE team! Hands down the best fucking people to ever get together and run a label. We couldn't be more stoked! Yes this page is brand new. Yes we used to be the Apes. For copyright reasons we dropped the name. It's all about the music though and we have a shit ton of bangers coming for y'all! Feel free to bump the free downloads on the previous post. Much love

Their debut MNE will be released on February 24th, 2017

So these dudes were just completely un-signed??

You shoulda bought a t-shirt of theirs at the show with the old band name n all, that woulda been pretty cool.

Not sure but... I think so. When I met them at the merch booth they were just a couple of chilled dudes, rappin tryin to do somethin.

I shoulda picked somethin up, my boy picked up their album.

I'm all about this.

The first two songs as Gorilla Voltage were awesome, had never heard DDA before the minutes following the announcement, checked that out.. good shit, kinda like Geno Cultshit meets Strange Music (at least in my head)

Perfect addition to MNE, who continues to knock it out of the park with new talent ('dox excluded).

Looking forward to catching them live, jealous of the homie @v_ron

I would put them in the middle of the label. Not as good as Lex or twiztid but better than boondox and g mo. I would be down to check em out live.

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

They bore the fuck out of me. They sound like generic chopper band wagoners that appeal to goofy suburban kids.

I love when artists mix Rap and Rock. Matter of fact 90% of the Twiztid tracks I like have Rock vibes.

Very interested in seeing what they come with. Not sure if I like this yet or not but definitely not terrible.

GV is a way better name than DDA however I don't know how anyone can call this music. Problem with everyone rapping is they say a bunch of dumb meaningless shit really fast over a beat. I don't like it at all. Also not really into twiztid since freek show. Can't stand G-MO either. Lex is ok. Boondox and YW are super dope. They have melody and a message. And they don't speed rap.
