Same, I've gotten to the point where I USUALLY won't say any music is bad or trash... just not my shit. Lyte and Quija Macc or whatever aren't my shit. I will say the psypher Quija debuted on was his only verse I loved. I was so hype about him, then I looked up his old shit, heard his new shit, and nah... not my shit LOL

Wouldn't it just be kind of.. I don't know.. uncool to join MNE right now? Like the timing of it would have so little impact. It doesn't send any kind of clear message.
Like I said before, Lyte isn't my thing either but he is a great live performer. He wipes the floor with 96% of those other "underground/horrorcore/independent-but-nowhere-yet" rappers. I've seen so many wack shows that I hate to admit they outnumber the good ones. Lyte is perfectly adequate, and that's not a diss. Like I wouldn't be ashamed to bring a chick to his show.

I liked Lytes' 2 cypher verses & mad real.. I sam him on the slam fest tour.. He was good, def wouldnt say great.. I wasnt feeling any of the songs he performed tho.. it's kinda funny he was on 6 foot 7 foot dissing MNE, & now theyre cool.. apparently..
