Ok, I misread the original post and said that this likely had to do with Boondox. Now I see that Twiztid is also on that particular track. That’s the problem. They said that they would never work with Twiztid in particular again but did not specify MNE as a whole. Since Lyte being on this track would constitute working directly with Twiztid, I get it. So that changes my opinion into J keeping true to what he said at the seminar. My bad.

Was anyone really planning on listening to the UGA album anyway? Does anyone listen to Lyte anyway?
I was and still do plan on it…sure not as intently and for the duration of an ICP or Twiztid project.
And on Lyte not really his five songs from his EP have been performed opening for ICP on the last few tours so no need I get it. But I legit wanted to hear him flex his rappity rap attacks in the back of the lac wiggity wiggity wack skills with all the other fast rapping hippity hoppers that were to be on that “Thanos” track.

He would have been good on that Worldwide Chopper track from All 6’s and 7’s. For whatever reason they decided to go with D-LOC on a chopper track in lieu of Dirtball. But yeah, Lyte would be good in that environment had he been known at that time. And he would be good here.

Agreed Lyte needs that look and unfortunately his first and biggest look was on the MNE 6 Foot 7 Foot MNE diss video he deserves a track standing next to a Tech, Rittz, Bone Thugs, Dirtball etc showing he can chop with the best of them.

Well maybe they’ll get him on a Strange track. That’s not a no-fly zone as far as I’m aware.

Correct, he is a local KC rapper who is also in a group with Dilemma as “D-Loc & Dilemma”
Oh, ok. I had just always seen it scrolling by on the screen when it was playing and assumed it was KMK since that’s the only D-Loc I had heard of. I thought it was kinda weird to have him on a chopper track since he’s not a chopper, but I never looked into it further. Good to know.

If you think them saying they aren’t sorry if they tricked us is them being hypocrites, I think you’ve lost the plot a little. They aren’t sorry if we got a little morality lesson with our wicked shit is literally them being true to themselves. Opposite of hypocrisy.

What makes them hypocrites is that they did so many of the things that they mocked in that song.
