Around the time the feuding started to become noticeable I wrote this letter and sent it to the MNE PO Box address. I wanted to share it here.
My name is Devin Connors and I’m 28-years old. I wanted to write to you and share my appreciation for what you do as artists and performers. I first got into the ‘wicked shit’ in October of 2007 when I was compiling songs for a Halloween playlist I do annually (as a means of festivity.) The first song I heard was Pumpkin Carvers and I fell in love with it immediately. Slowly, at that time, I began digging deeper into the underground style. It wasn’t until that Christmas (2007) that I got a copy of Psychopathic: The Videos. As I was watching it, I heard Afraid of Me for the first time. The song really struck a nerve. Your song made me realize that I was more than just an open-minded music nerd, that I was also a Juggalo. I find your lyrics to be incredibly relatable, and I appreciate that you can reach people in the way that you do. Songs like Wrong with Me, Familiar, LDLHA-IBCSYWA, and Afraid of Me (as mentioned before), among many others, all hold a strong spot in my heart. I have a developmental disorder known as Asperger Syndrome which severely handicaps my social skills. The ability to read others emotions and their intents has a big toll on my self-esteem. In addition to, I am also incredibly reclusive so I rarely go out to places like concerts, although, I would love to see both of you perform live someday. I have been trying to meet people of all walks of life on Facebook via groups for the past nine years to gain friendships and a connect with like-minded individuals, but often, when I try to reach out to said people, I either get ignored, or completely dissed. I feel like I missed out on all the fun and family love that use to exist in the community because a majority of what I’ve seen is hostility and judgement. Despite all of that, the music was always there for me and helped me during difficult times. With all the unfortunate negativity going on lately, I felt it would be a perfect time to share some positive vibes with people who’ve helped me a lot in the past. Thank you for the music you make, because it means a lot to me to get to listen to it. Thank you always, Devin Connors

Hey Devin, read your letter. Alot of that family love is STILL HERE, not so much online (see haters above) but definitely at the shows & events! I know you said that you don’t like to get out much but my advice would be to make it to a Juggalo event as soon as you can, so you can see firsthand that Juggalos are very much still united all over IRL! I would bet that once you’re at a show, surrounded by fam, you will feel very comfortable & the love will put some of that social anxiety at ease. Try it bro, real Juggalos WILL accept you. Maybe even hit up some local ninjas & see if they want to carpool or meetup & attend together. If you’re ever going to one that I’m able to attend, your more than welcome to ride up in that bitch with my crew, smoke some floronics & crack some faygos in line outside the venue with hella ninjas! MUCH MUCH ZUG LOVE HOMIE, don’t let the trolls fool you ?
