How are you feeling about them right now? I personally feel like twiztid is starting to sound promising. The christmas single sounds like old school twiztid. That's what I really want to return! Darkness had a few dope tracks but i'm hoping to hear them return to there roots on the next album. I wouldn't mind a "rock mixed with rap" album but not the next one up. I wish they would return to the green book sound. It was like a mix of freekshow, mirror mirror and mostastless IMO.
Icp is okay, but beat wise, I still feel like they aren't somewhere they need to be. The songs are still okay at best and nothing really sticks out. I am hoping they are taking the time with the solo albums to find there "sound" for the next card. That's what I wanted them to do all along. TML was a breathe of fresh air for icp. Another thing that drives me nuts is wicked all over songs.
So right now, i'd probably have to go with twiztid. Seems like they're touring more, and starting to get stuff pumping out. I'm excited to see what 2016 brings, but I think the advantage may go to twiztid but we will see. If they can bring back the old school flow it'd be dope.

As for recent albums I'll give it to ICP. I feel like this is the first time in a while I've enjoyed an ICP album over Twiztids work. independence Day, Wicked and Abominationz came out the same year as an ICP CD and all times Twiztid won. This time around ICP won because I really valued the concept of the Marvelous Missing Link and I loved about 93 percent of the Marvelous Missing Link albums.
Darkness was good but it felt forced at times. Plus the skits were filler as I felt. noneless it was a good album.
Twiztid has been putting in work touring which I admire and its paying off. As a record label Majik Ninja Entertainment I'll give the win. But as a group recently? ICP.

Once upon a time i like them both equally but with the change of the record label and all this Drama the magic somehow was taken away from twiztid(at least for me)
I don't think the Darkness is a Bad Album but somehow i don't really felt it.
The Missing Link lost was to me like a Hells Pit pt.2 which i thought was pretty awesome,
But found, phantom(x-tra spooky edition) And the outtakes Sounded like oldschool icp to me wich was amazing!!
I don't Mind "young Wicked" or otis on These albums and don't really get all the hatin on him. I like the beats very much imo they are like oldschool with a little little bit southern (memphis) air in them cuz to be all crunk they Would need to Have a slower bpm.
I'm bumpin These albums all Day atm so i Have to go with ICP.

Musically ICP is busting their ass, Twiztid is just sitting around blabbing about how great they are, darkness was ok at best, a handful of good songs, and a shitton of unmemorable stuff
Personality wise twiztid has really lost me. When they left psychopathic all of a sudden they turned into a pair of real pricks. First was the "pay for our fan club" thing, then "oh wait, its too hard,we wont do that".Add to the fact that they really cant get their story straight when it comes to ICP, one minute its all good, and they love them, next its really thinly veiled bullshit comments, than its all love, than its bullshit said at a concert, than its "oh what? we never said that"(despite a fact that a video exists),than a interview comes out with really petty bullshit shots taken, than "oh that interviewer made that up", than they get butthurt because J thought boondox was joining them and mono goes on a little bitchfit(Also maybe if they were straight up with J there wouldnt of been that miscommunication), than they demand a public apology from J, but wont apologize for their part, than its all love, than they make some really shitty comments at their panel. They act like a pair of high school kids
Not to mention they are absolutely disrespectful to their fans, their gathering seminar was just them being fucking dicks, than on their show someone simply asks where these artists they said they were signing were they start mocking him on air with blaze blabbing his fucking mouth in the background.now blaze is slipping in really shitty comments here and there in his interview, saying that on his new album "its the first time its been worked on by someone who makes real music".
Also lets not forget the video of mono dropping the n bomb like its going out of style on stage. Its just making them look incredibly foolish

Yep, agreed.
I havent even heard Phantom or Outakes, and only heard House of Wax once over the phone, and by just listening to that and the Missing Links, ICP are far more entertaining than recent Twiztid. And yes, Twiztid appear to have become INSUFFERABLE FUCKING PRICKS. Fuck their attitude, fabricated or not.
This may be a stupid question, but can I purchase Phantom, Outtakes and such rarities online? I will check HatchetGear, but the site gives me problems.

I dono, I feel like ICP is just searching for there sound still. I feel like this is the icp we should have had after the wraith.
J just sounds the same on icp tracks he needs to have more energy on em. I wanna hear him freaking out or put more emotion in. I really hope they don't do EDM shit anymore but I haven't heard it on phantom so it's looking like they aren't. Hopefully making these solo albums they expiriment just a little bit more and find there new sound for the next icp card. I expect some dope shit on these albums, J's album sounds like a story from his past personally.

Hands down Twiztid for me.
The politics are retarded and don't mean a damn to me at the end of the day.
Their personalities don't mean shit either.
Not having a huge music festival does not change the music quality for me.
Not starting the juggalo movement means nothing to me, plus you can't deny they haven't had almost as big of a hand in molding this culture. Hell, taking ICP over Twiztid because they started this culture is like taking Esham over ICP because he basically started the genre.
I like Twiztid because I strongly prefer their music over ICP's. Darkness is in my top 5 best albums I've heard this year. Found is in my worst 5 albums I've heard this year. Twiztid might not do nearly as much for their community, they might be completely greedy assholes, Mono might be a trash talking coward, I don't know. But I do know that I hands down prefer Twiztid songs. I actually prefer most artists on my Ipod over ICP.

No contest.
Yes both are Juggalo rappers but both have completely different sounds.
I like ICP for different reasons than I like Twiztid.
ICP will always be the Wicked Shit innovators but Twiztid will always be the masters of the Wicked Shit.
It's a tie...

I AGREE WITH YOU ON THE CHRISTMAS TRACK, THEY NEED TO STICK WITH FRITZ AS A PRODUCER, THATS WHEN THEY SOUND BEST IMO . ICP BEEN ON THE GRIND , THEY PUTTING OUT ALOT OF RELEASES , THEY BEEN TRYING TO TOUR MORE LATLEY, PAST FEW YEARS THEY ONLY WERE TOURING AROUND HALLOWEN. TMML TOUR WAS A COUP,LE WEEKS LONGER THAN LATE, AND THEY ABOUT TO DO A RIDDLE BOX TOUR , ICP IS GRINDING. HOPEFULLY PSYCHOPATHIC KEEPS POPPING WITH ABK HOODO ETC , I WOULD HATE TO SEE THEM LEAVE

I'm leaning more towards ICP, because they can conduct themselves in a mature manner even when being questioned about controversial shit. Twiztid lashes out on their fans, demands public apologies, and goes on periscope to make questionable comments. Needless to mention, lyrics in their songs too that are obviously disses. Anybody who denies that they are disses are in denial. Face it: the two groups don't care for one another and it's been painfully obvious since twiztid split in 2012. They continue the charade of being homies because... THAT'S WHAT IS BEST FOR BUSINESS.
But seriously, I'll stick with the ICP. They've always provided what I've wanted to hear over the years, and that's all I could ever ask for. I still like Twiztid, they just need to "let it da fuck go".

I've stated this before, Twiztid jumped the shark for me when they yelled at their own fan for asking a valid question at the Gathering seminar this year. And as Chris so eloquently stated in his above post, Twiztid have exposed themselves as arrogant pricks in recent interviews and public appearances.
Also Twiztid skipped Canada on their lengthy tour schedule this year without any explanation. Since all us Canadian ninjas showed them mad support when they came up here in 2014 and 2013, that pissed me off.
ICP scored huge points with me when they announced they would be working with ESHAM again.
Also Phantom, House of Wax and the MML outtakes album were way dope.
The Missing Link as a concept was really cool even though the music on it wasn't their best at the end of the day.
Young Wicked should stick to his solo shit and Axe Murder Boyz imo.

I can't choose one over the other.
Musically, this is the most excited I've been for ICP and Twiztid. The Outtakes, Lost, and the Darkness are in constant rotation and it seems that both are in an experimental phase, which I like.
I had the chance to see both live in October and, hands down, top notch performances all around. The addition of the live band raised the bar as far as Twiztid shows go and J was just as energetic as Shaggy ... something I haven't seen in a long time.
As far as PSY vs MNE: I like the direction both are going in. I'll probably go down as one of the few people who were happy with Twiztid leaving PSY. It was time. I love everything Blaze has been releasing, Lex seems promising, the Young Wicked album is great front to back, and the Killjoy album was a solid release. ICP has been releasing a hell of a lot of music and most of it is some of their best work to date. Twiztid is finally dipping into those horror contacts and they seem to be having a lot of fun with it.
