and it was fucking awesome.
First time I've seen Twiztid since 2005, first time I've seen Blaze since 2002, one of the sickest shows I've ever seen.
I'm not sure if my favorite part was when Twiztid did Lift Me Up or the two times I had to take a shit in front of around 20 or so juggalos (over the course of 10 minutes or so as they filtered out of the one-person, three-urinal, one-toilet, no-stall-door bathroom). Whenever I see bathrooms like this I become firmly convinced that bars and venues are involved in a social experiment involving men and their bathrooms.
Anyways. It was my girl's first psychopathic show. She loved it. What really surprised me is that we both really enjoyed ABK's set. There's not a whole lot of solo ABK that I've ever liked, so it was a nice surprise.
Blaze was fucking solid. I've wanted to see Real G Shit live for YEEEARS I think he was my girl's favorite. She's pregnant as fuck right now so she had to go sit down halfway through Twiztid but she dug it. She went buck for Deadman Walking and We Don't Die.
I lost my fucking shit for Rock The Dead, and that was pretty much my favorite part of their set, but I didn't expect them to do Lift Me Up and that's my favorite shit right now so in retrospect I was a little more hyped for that.
But the main reason I'm making this post is this; As you all know, I tend to make it a point to concern myself with what white artists do and don't say "nigga".
During Diemuthafuckadie! Jamie knelt and whispered into Mono's ear for the potions of the song where the word "nigga" was used, but had no problem pointing at crowd members and asking 'Everybody seems to be a fag or a lesbian, but what the fuck happened?'.
Soooo.. how does that work? If they really stopped saying nigga because they realized certain fans were being offended, wouldn't they want to avoid things that actually do purposely, needlessly alienate huge groups of people?
Nobody thinks they're saying "nigga" like "nigger" (except maybe the juggacaust), but they stopped saying it anyways. Madrox is however saying "fag" like "faggot", and that's no biggie?
For the record, I don't think he should stop saying fag.
I'm just sayin, even if they don't say it in new music anymore, if they're gonna perform the shit where they did say it, they need to just fucking say it. I mean is Mono gonna rename is album "ChainVaper" and stop promoting cigarettes and start calling himself "Liquid Nicotine Vapor" now that he smokes eCigs? Is Madrox gonna call his next album "Thinzo" and make songs about how niggas shouldn't eat baconators? They need to get over their fear of not being able to gain the proper kind of exposure now that they're on their own and just be themselves. People over-all have been "ready" for white rappers who say nigga for good long while now.
