I feel like mne are doing pretty well at pushing all of their artists. AXE deserves it though. Its pretty standard horrocore but its damn good for what they are going after.

Yeah axe has been very well received. I thought it was a cool tactic to wait until after they played the gathering to announce their official signing that album gets regular rotation still for me

Agreed, I actually heard the name in passing here and there but never cared enough to look em up. (I can be hella lazy LOL). Almighty came out and I found a new daily rotation group, and I am now catching up on their older shit too. Can't wait for that V5 shit!

I'm not gonna lie. Between the album art, and the fact that one of the pre-sale bundles is a fucking longboard, I'm expecting this to be some mid-2000's, hot topic shit.

granted, people said the same thing about heartbroken and homicidal and that had at least a few good tracks on it.

Well I pre-ordered Generation Nightmare but really I kind of consider it the Flip to Church of Xul's Fred. Wasn't expecting to be more excited for a different MNE artist's release than Twiztid's on their own label, but here we are.

Is anyone all that excited for new Twiztid? Like, it seems that if there was buzz around the album, this is the place that would reflect that, no? But there's like two pages so far, and we're only a couple months from release. Half the fucking comments just want to compare it to the new ICP, which I don't want to do. Let them stand on their own merit. It just feels like there was a time not that long ago when we would have all been more hyped. I kind of wish I were more hyped, to be honest.

I kinda am. I really liked Sick Mind. Ill always give Twiztid a chance. Even if they're lame.

Yea, I ordered it.  The singles so far sound good.  And it's a good move bundling it with AXE's album.  If you like Twiztid but are not familiar with AXE and wanted to get into them, you can get their album for like 7 bucks in the same transaction.  Just good marketing.

I gotta say, I was really taken aback that there was already a brand new AXE LP up for preorder considering they just released one at the end of September.

My only pet peeve with the bundles that Psychopathic, MNE, and sometimes Strange do is that I would like for it to be organized so you can order them "a la carte," if you will.  The way these labels do it requires you to buy the album up to 6 times if you wanted particular bundle items.  I'd like for them to put up the album and then let me pick and choose what I want and then you hit me with an invoice.  Gnome saiyan?  Either way, I usually just pick the one or sometimes 2 that I really want and it works out.

My guess is that they would do "a la carte" if they could, but it's more of an issue with the distributor. Strange should be able to do it no problem though because they allegedly do all of their shit in-house. I'm guessing doing it a la carte would be mad pricey.

Unfortunately, no... Their last two were OK at best, but after the years really don't get any re-spins with me. Whereas I still have a decent amount of their PSY catalog in regular rotation. I'm coupling that with the last 3 times I've seen them live (one being Warped Tour) just being stale shows with a stale crowd. There was a few years running after they departed PSY (2012-2016) where I was actually digging Twiztid's live shows more than ICP's. They have changed so much though, it's just not my scene anymore.

I'll still stream Generation Nightmare as soon as it drops. Don't plan on purchasing though.
