So I listened to Homebound and Season of the Pumpkin over the past two days. Here are a few songs where Hektic is the standout:
- Return of the Madman
- Dead By Dawn
- Horror Story
- Trick r Treat
- Haunted House
- Unconcious (Hektic solo)
- Violent Memories
Will have to spin Home Sweet Home/Head Trauma over the coming days.
Honestly, after really listening to the above two albums in their entirety, ROC shits on both Hektic and Bones on most tracks...

The ROC was definitely the highest work ethic of the trio, it seemed. Then, Mr. Bones came into his own, quickly. Then, Hektik eventually caught up.
Despite what Violent J said in his book, that Madrox and Monoxide were the two better rappers, ROC seemed like the driving force. J never got along with ROC lol.
Waiting on that Samhein Witch Killaz.

I mean, both can be true? I certainly agree that, while I respect the fuck out of ROC. he's never been one of my favorite rappers. Even on HOK stuff, it's rare that his verse is my favorite. He might've been the hardest worker of the trio but that didn't mean he was the better rapper.

ROC is the reason it sounded like it did. It's along the lines of Esham where he just knows how to get that dark sound in there without it sounding forced. He is a pretty good rapper as well, but I think Jamie has always been the best rapper. Even listening up through Mirror Mirror, he still raps circles around Paul.
