I got to the 12th track and stopped listening. First thing I said was goddamn boondox, you're one depressing motherfucker. Honestly the only good MNE release from boondox was the Turncoat Dirty ep. The Murder sucked, and I am definitely NOT feeling Krimson Crow. Abaddon was Boondox's best album. Listen to Krimson Crow only if you plan on offing yourself.

Abaddon actually might be one of my least favorite of his personally although it has some very good tracks on there...all in all I thought Krimson Crow was pretty good...I agree it's a little too sappy/slow at times and would have liked a few darker/crazier tracks or even a goofy song or two like we got on The Harvest or Krimson Creek but pretty sure Boondox advertised this one as being more personal

The album started off pretty well. I really like the first song, especially because the beat is quintessential Boondox, i.e. this dark/muddy/southern/country/hip-hop fusion. It really did sound like an updated version of Krimson Creek, which is great because that's my favorite album of his. But I didn't get why he threw Rittz on this particular song, I don't think this is a great collaboration song, it is, however, a great Boondoxey Boondox song with an out of place Rittz verse for some reason. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine when rappers put guest features on the very first, or the first three, tracks in general, though.
I really like the second song as well. Pretty much for the same reasons, giving me the Boondox sound that I like and going with the theme of an updated Krimson Creek kinda vibe. So I got really optimistic about this album!
Third song was alright. Sounds more like it belonged on The Murder, but whatever, I figured this one won't be my one of my faves but it's also not terrible, I could get used to it.
Then Reimagine happened. Man what a gut punch. Just cringey. It was pretty clear then that this album was not gonna be what I was hoping it would be.
And then all the following tracks were mostly "meh" to me, with some suffering from Boondox taking himself too seriously and trying too hard to be deep, and others having that mediocre sound that he has been going with eversince the UGA formed.
But I really do like those first 2 songs.

K7 Lethal and the songs with Blaze and Madrox were pretty good too...not a fan of the autotune singing on Wild Horse though

I've listened to it a few more times, and I can honestly say this is my absolute most disliked Boondox album. Krimson Crow can go suck a dick. What a huge fucking let down. After Abaddon, he just completely sucks now. I mean I still got family love for Boondox, but wow, the quality of his albums have dipped since leaving Psychopathic.
