...but if they truly want to distance themselves from Psy, they are taking a poor approach it seems.they cant.
theyd have to take off the facepaint, don the cowboy hats, and start recording a buncha radio-friendly theme songs for pickup truck commercials, to even have a chance at breakin that connection. as far as our perceptions are concerned.
they can separate themselves, personally, from icp, personally, just by pissin each other off all the damn time. like it matters.
but we, the fans, are still gonna be here, able to remember things with our own brains.
if they ever get to the point where they could say they were the legit kings of the hill... then, maybe. yeah. we might forget.
but you dont get to be king of any hill by claimin to be buildin another hill that will be just as cool as the one the current king is on. takes too damn long, and king got a huge head start.
i totally understand all of that as far as music/presentation etc
i was moreso talking along the lines of business wise.
They are already more involved with social media than ICP/Psy ever has been, and letting their acts do other things besides MNE dominant is also a good thing like Lex being on the Leathal Weekend show/s and i think was it G Mo of all acts doin some Warped Tour date...
things like that will differntiate them..at least slightly
they will probably always have the facepaint and the Hallowickids so on etc, thats just part of their history even if it still links them to Psy..
but things like this show, and adding a 2nd stage...and if they ever do try and have their own "festival'..or whats next..movies featuring all of their artists?
and again i still like Twiztid...most hate the "family" aspect of the juggalo culture, but once a fan of their music, i will always support if i like it...same for Blaze, Dox and ABK if he decides to leave. I actually also dig Lex and some GV...G Mo is different story though, just something about his flow/delivery i dont like

I know one of the dudes. He's not really that good (yet) but he is the best that local juggalos have with his only competition being GFC and Illuminati and those groups just flat out fucking suck. That may piss the hotline off, who put him on, but fuck it I'm not going to lie. I was showing him to @piggofdoom once.
@chunk801 are you DJing for Shadow Dick?

@lucemferre More than likely we'll see tho, the homie needs a producer I think the get a LP going, he's gotten better everytime I see him. You should get on a show man, you killed the cypher at the house party on Juggalo day. I got tickets for this show and after party if I play or not

Picked up tickets, anyone have suggestions on where to stay? I plan on getting out there Friday afternoon.
@V_Ron If you want a cheap place there's a econo lodge nearby the venue, if money is no worry there's a marriot downtown with alot of bars and spots that stay open late close to it

Appreciate it! @Violentdope, his wife and myself are staying at the Marriott a block away. Area looks pretty chill. Hit me up if you want to meet up with us. We're still planning on arriving Friday afternoon.

What it do! So Friday the night before Attack of the ninjas, 801 Juggalo Hotline is throwing a Pre Party with a bunch of artists! I'll be Djing most of the night it's free and 21+ so you can get your drink on. Our homie is security so it's all good. If your in town come thru it's from 8-2am at Club X in SLC not from the complex.

I got one of your cds, haven't checked it yet, but thank you
That was a lot of fun, man. I don't know which one you were if you got it directly from me or Jr. I was the one in the Kanye West shirt going around saying "shitty mixtape!" Did not like a lot of acts there but I had headphones. Lot of bouncing back and fourth. I kept making that "Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!" sound. And I also chanted "Yin Yang Twins!" when Zodiac came out. Fucking R.O.C. gave me the funniest look when I did that. Only set we really sat through was Twiztid's and most of Boondox. I was completely sober and was like the only one there getting down and doing that thing I call dancing. You could also hear me in the smoker section belting out 'Love Lockdown' later that night.

Oh, yeah, and on the 2nd stage that one guy was like "give it up for the DJs volunteering up here and going before me" so I started chanting "DJ CHUNK! DJ CHUNK! DJ CHUNK!"
@chunk801
You and Shadow Penis killed, pulled a bigger crowd than most acts on that stage AND Insane Eric. Definitely bigger than the SickVille crowd.

lol, yeah I got it from you then. I saw your shirt. I did the same, bounced back and fourth and spent a lot of time at the underground stage, that area was a lot cooler with a lot less people. fun fucking show, I had after party tickets, but I bounced before AMB hit the stage, I was just tired, at my old age 8 hours of concert and standing is a lot for me haha.
