Founding Wu-Tang Clan member U-God has been on an album hiatus for over four years. The veteran Staten Island, New York emcee who is currently gearing up for a series of summer concerts with his Clansmen also announced plans for his fourth solo album, Keynote Speaker.
After releasing 2009's Dopium with Frank 151's label partnership with Babygrande Records, Golden Arms has reunited with RZA at the Abbott's Soul Temple Records imprint. That label recently released Ghostface Killah & Adrian Younge's Twelve Reasons To Die effort.
Coming on July 23, Keynote Speaker will feature Wu brothers Method Man, GZA and Inspectah Deck, as well as Kool Keith, Styles P and Elzhi.

Additionally, Soul Temple Records has posted a album sampler and two additional songs, posted below, via the label's Band Camp page.

yeah I've refrained from jamming it...got the vinyl record ordered to my local shop but its already Out of print so I gotta wait a lil. Which is bad news for me but good news for him if all the copies pressed up sold out like that. RZA's new record imprint Soul Temple has dropped nothing but heat since its inception I think all that hollywood money is in turn going to fund the new WU flavor.

I just got it yesterday, but i pre ordered it on the 18th, but the cool thing was it came signed. And did you get the brown tape for 12 reasons to die?

yeah I'd probably have it if I had gotten it on cd but I just dont do cds....but I heard with the resurgence of vinyl records that the few vinyl pressing plants left get backed up and cause delays. So I'm still waiting.
DAMNIT you got me right after I said Ive got all the Soul Temple lps thusfar. I also am missing Tony Touch's recent compilation which looks promising. Is the Brown Tape good? I tend to stay away from remix or alternates of material I already like.
