now.. if that was a hypocritical statement it wouldve said "due to his odd future association I dont even have to listen to a frank song to know hes wack" or something along those lines.. but clearly thats not what i said.. cheif claimed frank is the best R&B artist & i said the weeknd is the best & frankie isnt simply cuz hes associated with OF (clearly being dead serious lol *sarcasm*).. now clearly i never passed him off as wack so theres no hypocrisy there.. hell i didnt even mention his music nor judge it.. i just claimed the weeknd is better.. 2ndly OF's mainstream success (if they have any.. idk theyre not on my radar) had nothing to due with my statement.. ive heard several songs by them & their corny to me.. so again i didnt just write them off it came from a semi-educated opinion.. what i wrote is the exact opposite of what i accused/assumed LTB did..

i see the vague similarities but theres a big difference between dismissing someone as the best & just stating someones wack.. & youre missing the point of the mainstream "affiliation" which was an instant "write off" without hearing a thing.. where-as i have actually heard OF.. so yeah youre claim of hypocrisy is a stretch..

Not really, his dismisal had nothing to do with the music, only the affiliation.
Same with yours. You didn't say he's not the best because his music isn't as good, you said he's not the best because he's with OF as in maybe if he wasn't affiliated with them he'd some how be more talented.
You didn't give him a chance to be the best because he is with OF.
His affilliation with OF has nothing to do with his talent. You were judging his talent based off the same petty affiliation excuse that you accused and condemned BLT of doing.
Ultimately what you are saying is that you listened but did not judge based on what you heard but instead judged it off of what cliq he's affiliated with.
