Rob lost me after that Educated Horses album. Loved Hellbilly Deluxe and Sinister Urge. But after Foxy, Foxy I just had to stop. But I'll definitely give this a listen.

not the worst song on the album (which I thought was pretty good btw) then again I liked Educated Horses for what it was (not so much Foxy Foxy but there were definitely plenty of other great songs on that record)...didn't watch the video wonder if the "gangster midget" is the same midget from his recent Lords of Salem movie lol

lol could be the same one...the midget in the movie was dressed up to look like some demonic turkey looking thing (was supposed to represent the devil I think...it made me lol but w/e)...I definitely recommend Lords of Salem the movie though for anyone interested in a good mindfuck...not that its a good movie or anything but its certainly entertaining and yeah I really liked his new album...their cover of American Band was really great

i agree with you mentalcase...lords of salem wasnt a good movie but the music and the imagery was cool...rob zombie really needs to stop puttin his wife in his movies and he needs to stop writing them...if he got a good script he could make a descent movie...he has really good ideas and visuals..

ROB ZOMBIE Announces He's Done Making Horror Movies

Did you know Rob Zombie's new movie, The Lords of Salem has been out for a month now? Chances are you didn't, or perhaps did and decided to skip it because the movie tanked at the box office.

But, this is Zombie's fifth horror movie, counting his two Halloween films, House of 1000 Corpses and my personal favorite, The Devil's Rejects, leaving to ask how much more horror does Zombie have to tell? Turns out not much at all, as he is ready to move on.

In a new interview with the Phoenix Sun-Times, Zombie spoke of his love for monster movies, and the interviewer asked him if Zombie ever considered a monster movie remake to which Zombie replied:

No. I’m not really thinking of doing anything . . . Lords of Salem is my last sort of horror-genre related film for a really long time.

This certainly doesn't mean Zombie is done directing movies. His next film will be a hockey film, Broad Street Bullies about the 1974 Philadelphia Flyers, which he compared to "Rocky meets Boogie Nights"

Filming is scheduled to begin in the fall after Zombie wraps his summer trek on the Mayhem Festival. Metal Injection is giving away tickets to each stop of the tour. Enter to win here.
