will these bands continue to gain young fans? of course.. will the sound become the predominant sound of modern rock again? zero chance.. 1st of all the genre died out way too quick.. 2ndly, hip hop is so dominant that those rap/rock bands look corny now.. although most of those bands do deserve credit, for having a DJ.. which is arguably more hip hop than the rappers of the time, who mostly all abandoned the DJ..
