Nas blew me away when I 1st heard “If I ruled the world” as a kid & when I heard “Streets Disciple” in high school..

 

the only Jay song i’ve ever liked was “Big Pimpin”…

I feel you there. I just can’t get through a Jay Z album. I have a couple CDs in my garage but I don’t see the appeal. Once again, super respected and revered. But not my preferred listen.

Busta Rhymes, KRS-One, many Wu-Tang members, Rakim, Prodigy etc.. would have been a more interesting poll to me for NY rappers. MF Doom, too.
