Skinny Deville is my favorite too, he has like an offbeat way of rapping, but there still making good music trust me

Where abouts you from ghostman? If yall like nappy id suggest "the villebillies", they are another kinda similar group also from kentucky. Kind of a mix of Rehab and Nappy Roots is about the only way I can describe em

Heard a Vilebillies track years back n it was catchy.

Slum I heard the word "slumerican" on Pandora today, a Rittz track. Is that where you get your alias from?

I made that shit up and they jacked it from me! Nah Slumerican is the name of a small crew of rappers yelawolf associates with. Yelawolf, Rittz, Shawty Fat, a dude named newport, and waylon jennings grandson "struggle". There might be more.

It started as a joke, with yelawolf getting "slumerican shitizen" tatted on his calves so "the cops have something to look at as he is running away" and took off from there.

Personally I chose it because I love the word and think it perfectly embodies the juggalo culture. Go to the gotj and look around. THAT is slumerica

Well you've more than satisfied my eager answer~hole! So I probably DID hear the word.. in both tracks! If they run with the same crew and share regional vernacular.

Either way, both tracks were good and I'm going to cop some Rittz n Yelawolf soon.

Struggle got on VladTV on a story for illegaly doing a video from prison/jail like a month ago and I though it was funny because they made no mention of his ties to slumerican. Also how in the hell could you forget the ATL Twins?

Atl twins, i knew i forgot a few. i think dj burn one(produced white jesus) is in there too.

omd if you heard animal and liked yela you should definitely check him out. That is definitely one of his weaker tracks imo. Check out "Trunk Muzik 0-60" for his best body of work. I still bump it to this day. He is definitely an acquired taste and is hit or miss. But when he is on his cadences and patterns are hard to fuck with.

Rittz on the other hand is probably one of the most underated rappers alive. When he is doing songs from the heart and not just flexing his mic skills there are very few emcees that can match him as something you can relate to. Plus the dude straight up has the best similes in the game and his word play is impeccable. People get turned away by the fast rapping but he is crisp and Im rarely  left wondering what he just said.

The life and times is a solid album(my aoty pick) but id check out "the white jesus:revival" first. "Nowhere To Run" is a good song to start with. He pours his soul into the track and leaves it all on the table.

Sorry for the rant, but I love these guys and have been following them  since before the shady and strange deals. ill talk em up to anyone who will listen

Rittz is my fucking favorite solo artist with air in his lungs. I saw him on psy radio and found revival here and been a fan since. I actually became a fan of yela through him. But in that realm of his the songs i like Piece of Mind, Triumphant, his verse on Dice's All I Need is Time, All We Know, Nowhere to Run, Wishin, Never Lettin Go, Wastin Time, and Misery Loves Company. I wish that Rittz and Rollo shit would surface. I love finding a rare Rittz track. Just through his features I've become a fan of a lot of people. Most of all the League of Extraordinary Gz, talk about underrated and slept-on. They're from Austin, TX and are THE SHIT. Peep their song with Rittz, Yes He Is Rebirth. My all time favorite rap group. Most of they're body of work is free too.

Yeah bro,  I want to find a quality version of 770 and any of his back catalog. I have most of his work but am missing little things. I like rittz collabs when the put him last because more often then not he just bodies anyone.
