Gore & porno grind is often hilarious. Then you get bands like Intestinal Disgorge who vary from album to album in recent years. Sort of inventing a new grind style along the way. Grind is art & anti-art at the same time, that's one of the reasons why I like it.

Tankard- the German KINGS of party, this song is from the perspective of a beer left in the freezer a bit too long

Bolt Thrower- UK death metal with songs about brotherhood and Warhammer 40K? yes plz

Blood Ceremony- hauntingly beautiful psychedlic doom/rock from Canada.. think of a sexy, female fronted Jethro Tull (lots of flute here)

Dismember- now defunct Swedish death metal, they don't make riffs like these anymore
