I haven't listened to much Eminem since waaayyyy back. I'm talking, I haven't listened to much after "The Eminem Show".

What are some good deep cuts that the guy has released after those first three albums? For reference, my favorite tracks by him are ones like "Role Model", "Drug Ballad" and such.

dude his first three record and the first D12 album are all worth giving a spin.

As for highlights itd be easier to list the not so highlights cause the rest are bangers.

my top 5 would be Brain Damage, As The World Turns, Under The Influence, Criminal and Shit Can Happen (which has one of Ems best verses period.)

Thanks for suggestions, yall... turns out I had heard some of Relapse already.. but listened to it in its entirety last night. Definitely some wicked shit. Almost Gordy level at times lol. Not bad overall. His voice definitely changed.

the last song "Underground" is definitely Gordy inspired.. the same label that released Em's "Infinite" Released Gordy's "Entity".. Gordy talks about Em on "Misunderstood" & "Over".. the former also has him describe being unhappy at the label.. He essentially left the most popular team in hip hop at the time(Em & 50) to be down with the juggalo/psy scene... it also adds context to the alchemist feature Em released after Relapse where he said something about "sounding like a juggalo rapper"..

Just want to reiterate the dopeness that is King Gordy.

And Relapse is good shit. Not my favorite but deff good for sure. Its like Em's version of Mud Water Air and Blood to me. As far as it being dope but not exactly mind blowing.

Gordy is insanely talented.

MWAAB is great. A bittersweet, kind of weird send-off album for one of the most unique underground super groups of all time.

Real as fuck.

After I commented this I got an itch to spin that record (MWAB) and, yeah I still think its dope. It makes me think of a slightly less dark version of Black Rain. Meaning its pretty up beat and could damn near dance to it. I was just hoping they'd carry on that same weird, sinister vibe that they had on Opaque Brotherhood. Which is probably my fav Psy release.

Im sure ive said this before on here but Coagulate is actually my all time fav DL song. Ever.

In order of favorite to least...

Opaque Brotherhood

Tales From the Lotus Pod

The Mud, Water, Air and Blood

Black Rain

I love the sinister vibe of Opaque. That album is seriously full of something.. off. It came out at the worst time of my life, so that has a lot to do with it. Just left this branding of my psyche.

Sometimes I like MWAAB more the TFTLP, but I consider them tied. Black Rain is easily my least favorite but it rocks overall.

Zeus was my favorite track on the 1st listen..

His hook style gets old fast w/ me but he's rappin his ass off.. it kinda sounds newer than side A.. I wonder if this was recorded in response to it, like he did with kamikaze..

Thought the comment section was hilarious in its crazy conspiracy theories. Lots of people feel that Proof sacrificed himself in order to save Eminem's daughter for some kind of $100,000,000 Illuminati sacrifice. Silly but interesting.

Wait til you meet "kukluxklown" unless you have already ... he is the Alex Jones of Faygoluvers. Can be quite entertaining, at times.
