I suppose being a mildly religious god-fearing sort of man makes me get turned off by that type of shot. But whenever people refer to themselves seriously as gods in any capacity, I just think theyre an over blown douche.

i feel ya.. like when lucem does it it comes across as extra corny to me.. cuz his seriousness & him just stating it outside of music.. but i understand the capacity jay & em are saying it in.. most hip hop fans refer to the legends as gods so im sure they meant it in that light cuz theyre both revered as 2 of the greatest of all time..

I feel that as well. I think this is the first time we've both agreed and disagreed in the same discussion about the same thing while also understanding each others points. Big things are happening.

punk rock Juggalo I would like to respond to your post first homie, I said "real" hip hop as a joke, obviously you don't know me homie, that's what I mentioned you can like whatever you want to, I actually agree with you, what is considered real hip hop to someone is their personal choice of what is dope to them, the whole "this is real hip hop" thing is just somethin' I said cause I thought It was funny dude, everyone talks about what real hip hop is but I believe it's just like Punk Rock, what is punk rock to You? to me, it's D.I.Y., it's your opinion when it comes down to it. So to me Real Hip Hop is Mix Master Spade, Toddy Tee, King Tee, tweedy bird loc, fo' clips, m.c. ren, bloods & crips (bangin on wax), o.g. cell-e-cell, Hi-C, D.J. quik, CMW, m.c. eiht, eazy-e, old school hardcore hip hop like that, just to name a few, because I love gangster rap, and yeah gangster rap is Hip Hop too! at least to me it is...

and Warlock, yo man I'll try to name off a few MC's that have been on MTV in the past that I truly believe can spit better this "eminem rap god" shit...

Redman, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, slick rick, Run DMC, public enemy (especially Chuck D), Ed Lover & Doctor Dre, Jeru The Damaja (check out his first solo album the sun rises in the east, and second, the wrath of the math if you don't believe me), Ice Cube (amerikkka's most wanted), young murder squad, Chino XL, Ras Kass, Mayhemm (hip hop from Las Vegas), the lady of rage, run DMC, onyx, EPMD... I once saw the South Central Cartel video "gang stories" on MTV that's better than eminem any day!, Craig Mack ( flava in ya ear! ), a tribe called quest, the dove shack, Skee-Lo, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Domino, WC & The Maad Circle, fuckin' vanilla ice's actual verses on Ice Ice Baby not the beat & the chorus, boot camp clik, Heltah Skeltah, NAUGHTY BY NATURE, Apache, LL cool J, anyone of these rappers has a better enjoyable flow than eminem screaming while he's trying to rap crying about his ex wife and mom and how he's addicted to drugs, ...all better rappers that have been on MTV

anyway I think ninjas on this forum might get a kick out of this video, or at least it could be a good conversation starter...

much clown Luv!!!

LTB to your answer your question, No. Real Hip Hop is obviously not racist black rappers hating whites, black people can never truly be racist, if you study your history (of America), you will know it is White people who started racism in this country. (now I want you to think about that real deep, how can a black person be blamed for racism when White European Caucasians started Racism?... just dwell on that thought for a minute), white Europeans murdered Indians and murdered African americans and made them slaves and segregated them!)  If you listen close to the songs lyrics and attempt to try and understand their lyrics you would have found out that they are not talking about white people like you and me but the White People who are racist, the k.k.k., the politicians in control of the political system ( you know the fucks who decide we only have two choices, either republican turd sandwiches or democrat douche bags, lol ) I actually own this Menace Clan album, and at the very end of the song "kill whitey" there is a secret commentary interview with the group. The reporter asks them several questions including topics such as The L.A. Riots, the O.J. simpson Trial and weather or not they hated all white people, when asked about the question if they hate all white people, their answer was No, they don't blame regular "crackers" like you and Me, just average everyday "white folk", haha, they said their problem was with the Racist Rich white elite who are in control of power who get to decide how politics are ran. So before you make judgments and accusations on people I suggest you do a little research on the music you are listening to before you assume they are Racist Black Rappers.... and by the way check out their other songs from their debut album on rap-a-lot records "Da Hood" ...crack open a 40 oz, roll up a fatty and smoke that bitch.

i said that in reference to modern mainstream cats.. i can agree with you on a few of those names tho.. & i was talkin lyrical complexity.. & there's nothing complex about a few of those names..

Your retarded if you truly believe this...especially this part...White guilt much...Seriously though...You are telling me that black people being racist is ok because we started it? ehh...

If you shot my brother...first...does it then become justifiable for me to shoot everyone you are related to because "they did it first."

the track is still dope - he did the best that he could on that beat.. maybe a remix with a different beat might happen

he had to do that style over that beat
