Apparently this was to be released on SSLP and was the first thing Eminem did with Dr. Dre. It wasn't, of course, sat around, and then 50 Cent was supposed to [or maybe did] add a verse, and was renamed Norman Bates Motel. That was scrapped and then we got Psycho. At least, that's according to trshady.com
Anyways, cool song.

that is all wrong. i can explain. the song is called Ghost Stories and was supposed to feature Thirstin Howl the 3rd.
the guy that this song was leaked by was named Randall a kid from detroit who got it off a bootleg. he was a house of krazees fan at the time and named the song after a Mr. Bones song of the same name. house of krazees rapper Mr. Bones aka Madrox of twiztid. they run with ICP. you might have heard of them. Anyways Em's was supposed to have a 2nd verse by thirstin who was a no show despite doing Watch Deez with Eminem in a similar devilish song plot.
randall got it off a bootleg CD. he had it for a few years before it leaked. i got it from him at least a full year if not more. one day he left his AIM account's share files unprotected one day and some asshole kid found it and leaked a 30 or so second clip on to D12world's forum.
so first leak was 30 seconds good Q, then 2nd leak was the full song in ass quality then finally the full song leaked in great Q.
how do i know? because i was the asshole who leaked the full song in ass quality, hoping the other d-bag wouldn't leak the full thing in the best Q. Randall told me to do so lol.
the punk kid leaked it in 128 kbps....randall had it in 320 but still the quality is good enough that nobody would care for the 320 rip. damn Randall. Randall was a regular at horrorcore.com - the highest poster there.

I got the true story.
So Eminem straight ripped the instrumental and lyircs from Esham. Really, he literally stole this song from Esham. And he was going to introduce a whole new wicked persona to people with the name Asham. Asham the ungodly spittin LSD rap. I know this because me and Marshall go way back. What happened though is he took it to Hektik of House of Krazees, now known as Twiztid, you might know them. Rapper dudes that look like pandas, anyways, so he took it to Hektik when they were touring on the House of Horrors tour with ICP. Hektik gave a copy to Violent J hoping that he would sign Asham The Ungodly (Eminem) to Psychopathic. But politics prevented it from happening because Violent J was jealous of how well Asham could bite Esham's style so he hid it and planned on biting the biting of Esham for himself.
It leaked because Monoxide has beef with Violent J and he wanted to ruin it before J could take the glory from Asham (Eminem).
Then Marz fucked Sugar Slam.
