AraabMuzik is recovering after he was shot earlier this week in an attempted robbery. His manager, DukeDaGod, posted an Instagram photo of the producer and MPC virtuoso in the hospital surrounded by a crew of his friends. "Everyone wish my brother @araabmuzik a healthy & pleasant recovery!!!! #Mvpofthempc #Soblessed," reads the post. Rapper Avatar Darko shed more light on the situation on Twitter. "My lil brodi too trill! They tried to rob him and he ain't come up off his shit so they tried get him outta there!" he wrote.

Though he's in the hospital, AraabMuzik – born Abraham Orellana – appears to be recovering nicely. "Rumors have begun to circulate and first and foremost, we want to let everyone know that AraabMuzik is currently alive and well," the producer's team said in a statement to Billboard. "He was out in his neighborhood [Wednesday] night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can."

AraabMuzik's next show is scheduled for tomorrow at Bard College in Little Neck, New York. His latest tweet announced that he'll be playing Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, which will take place June 18th through June 25th.
