So call this the lack of sleep, but at work this dude who does shitty work, and only does a 5 hour shift, was asked to work overtime cause somebody else’s grandma died. He says he won’t work over time because his phone isn’t working and when they tell them it was a shitty reason he starts throwing a tantrum and calling them cunts and shit. Me, being awake since 9 am the  previous day with only 1 hour of sleep and working my full 8 hours took his tantrum as a slap to the face, for some reason. Maybe it’s the lack of sleep. So I went around and told them that if they need somebody to work overtime come to me first and never go to him first.

 

After, I started talking to another coworker about trying to convince them to fire him behind his back so I could get somebody who would appreciate a job and gladly take overtime hired in his place. Would that make me a two faced piece of shit or does he have it coming to him? Honestly, his laziness never really bothered me, it’s just his damn attitude.

If he had a legitimate reason for freaking out it would be different. Even if it were something simple as “I’ve made plans since I was supposed to get off at this time” I would be much more understanding of him. But he flipped out because his phone doesn’t work and that’s it? That’s fucking stupid.
