I have been able to decode the columns and finally make the pieces fit together as intended.  The column that's linked with the slaughterhouse song is titled "Fearless Fred's words 2 Fear". 

Now, I will say that the song is such trash that I still can't catch all the words in this song so I'm unsure of the word that goes in the column yet, so I'll just throw out some notable lines to peep out while you all eat your egg benedict's ya damn Tom Arnold's! Careful not to get any egg on your face now;)

I guess you could consider it poetry, but with me it started out with just words, just words.
