Delta-8 THC is another cannabinoid. It occurs less than Delta 9 THC but it has some similar qualities. Unlike, say, CBD or CBG, there are actually some psychoactive effects from 8. It is more medicinal in ways, as well, but that is a broad and varying statement. Much more research to be done. 

We carried oils that were high in Delta 8 and a decent amount of Delta 9, but they didnt sell well. The 8 is very laborious to extract at this time, and while it has shown tons of potential, there is still loads of testing to be done. So we stopped selling them. We were actually one of the first shops to carry them, ever. But I attribute their low sales to it being too soon on the market. Just like when we sold extracted terpenes in little jars. People just weren't ready for terpenes. Especially due to the location of our rural dispensary. Lots of factors.

How much did it cost? I question if it is pure Delta 8 at all, or if it is, if it is quality extracted product. We were selling 500mg carts of them for fucking $80 due to the price of buying. The plus side of recreationally legal states like Colorado is that they are all rigorously scrutinized by several watchdogs. It is too much policing in ways, but also it ends up with an end product that is tested for pristine quality. Lots of it is worth the money because it is what it says it is, and it isnt some gas station K-2 Spice style imitation.

Interesting read. It cost like 50 bucks but that’s in WV I’m sure different stores across the country got different prices.

Last week I had sumn called Black Hindu and that was by far the best strain I ever had. It tasted so good whether it was out of a woods or just a bowl. And it had the best piney smell. Goddamn I hope I get that again soon.
