“Okay… Right? So what happened wuz…”
Apparently, after the last few weeks of “gigging” [???]… My body decided it had had enough after Halloween and just shut the fuck down.
I’ve been sick AF. Not even like a flu but just a basic-ass hardhitting COLD and I rarely get sick “on my own” [wink, nudge].
It was like I came down with a case of the fuckin’ DTs! Sweating one minute and freezing at the slightest breeze. The light headed feeling was kinda fun until I needed to stand up…
I had to back out of my final Veteran’s Day themed gig because I’m taking it as a sign that I might be over-extending myself in my “old age” (a house party thing, but ya know… a gig is a … uh… well, it’s something I wasn’t worried about while trying not to puke on my phone to tell them so…).
Seems to be breaking today. Just in time for my birthday this week! Which falls within the “Patton Oswalt Birthday Party Scale” of “NO PARTY”…. heh… I got mine in. ‘~’=
