@guest yeah, I’m convinced a lot of these ‘experimental’ artists are completely talent less hacks that use the guise of being experimental as an excuse to get away with sucking. I’ve heard good experimental music and I’ve heard the shit where it’s just some asshole punching his guitar strings with no rhythm while he records it on his iphone.  

I like some “experimental hipster” music, but it is less like what you posted and more like this:

Dude plays all of the music in his albums, makes his own instruments, and illustrates all of his album covers and music videos. I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the type of music he plays and the lyrics he uses. I can understand if you don’t like his music, but there’s no way Chad Vangaalen is a talentless hack.

I have also been bumping some of Aesop Rock’s new shit lately. His new album and some of his newer singles are amazing. Super glad I got to see him live.
