My two cents:

Smack can have his own thread where he can say whatever he wants.  Otherwise, he has to agree to not derail any other threads with off-topic personal attacks against scruffy or anyone else.  That doesn’t mean not getting into arguments, it means not purposefully screwing up other threads with this shit.  The definition of “purposefully screwing up other threads” is, anything that looks like that to PRJ, Psyral, or Scottie D.  That’s not a standard we want to apply to everyone, but smack should absoultely be on his very last warning.  If smack can’t do it, he’s banned.

2. To give smack the benefit of the doubt, scruffy should not be moderating/deleting his posts, that should be left to the other mods.  If scruffy can’t stick to that, he’s unmodded.

It shouldn’t take any more than that.  Personally I don’t think smack will be able to or want to stick to #1 and he’ll have to be banned, but at least if he’s given that condition then I think the few people that don’t want to see him banned for legitimate reasons will at least have to understand.  

I think we need more new blood around here, and I can say for certain that personally if I had come by at a time when the discussion was dominated by this kind of stuff I would have kept right on going, and I think that’s probably true of a lot of people. 

to narrow it down. Give smack what he wants and let him terrorize the forum whenever he feels like it.

not turning heel here, but I honestly feel, that if the Scruffster stopped deleting Smacks posts, that Smack would chill out on Scruffy and we would be in somewhat of a normal continuing dysfunctional forum. I get each party does not want to back down in fear of the ” I told you so”. we can dodge that by agreeing to end this shit right here, right now. Clean slate. Yes this feud is entertaining, but its dragging on, and its exhausting. We are all adults, and deleting posts out of spite is childish, which in return results a childish backlash, then website owners get called into it, and its just embarrassing. Teacher! Teacher! Johnny wont stop looking at me!….

This is a good idea. Instead of deleting smacks posts, just move them to another thread specifically for him. That way, they’ll be no more deleting posts and no one will have to be subjected to smack all the time, unless they go to the thread for his posts. It’s a win-win. Great idea, @drfreshness
