I'm a big collector but it took me a while to find my niche.  I was into coins and stamps for a little while, but I just couldn't get into it that much- there are so many damn coins and stamps out there and someone's always going to have a better collection than me, a collection with all the ones I want but can't afford.  And the guy who owns that collection is probably an asshole too.  If I went up and tried to talk to him, maybe tell him that I admired his collection and asked for his advice about something, well that goddamn motherfucker would probably spit in my face and then he'd go home and beat the fuck out of his wife and kids.  Fucking asshole. 

So that's how I kinda went from stamps and coins to scalps.  I was way into that for about a year, I dug the whole native american aspect and I always had lots of cool ideas for how to display scalps- mostly on mannequins but sometimes involving cool shit with diaramas, there was one where I had the scalp as a bearskin rug with two figurines fucking on it.  The problem was whenever I tried to display my scalps in one of the bomb ass ways I'd devised, it almost never turned out looking lilke what I had in mind.  That got really frustrating after a while.  Not to mention, sawing off scalps is messy and time consuming, and it's real easy to cut your hand if you're trying to move fast.  Anyway I gave up on scalps and switched to fingers.  I keep 'em in drawer and pull em out to look at whenever I want to relive past glories.  Not as flashy, but no muss, no fuss- I've never been disappointed by a finger, they're absoultely perfect.  I love my fingers.

I believe scalping was shown to the natives during the french indian war. The white devils would hire mercenary natives to attack other tribes and asked to bring back scalps as proof of a bounty...cant remember where i heard that, or if i just made it up.

I collect DVDs and guitar gear, mostly.

I collect decanters. I'm on my phone, when I get to my computer I'll post my collection

I collect Mold-a-rama figurines, which are injection molded plastic figurines that are made in mini plastic factory machines. These machines can be found in a lot of museums and zoos (lots are in Chicago, Miami, Detroit, Toledo, Knoxville and Seattle).

I also have a collection of my photography where I have printed out the photo and had the musician in the photo autograph it for me.

I have over 5000 VHS tapes, not counting blanks and duplicates. The shelves they are displayed on are covered in fast food toys and movie plushes. 

At one time I a huge video game collection, 30+ Systems and a few thousand games. Most was stolen by the junkies that lived above me. I still have some of the doubles that were in storage, but its nowhere near what it was. 

I also collect Yellow Submarine stuff.
