Yeah I never could get a comfortable feel for day drinking. Not to say I havent done it. Probably no more than 10 times. Usually at our annual memoriam party we will start sipping the next morning. But not really anymore. It feels extremely unhealthy.

Everyone is different tho. I know an older man who gets out of work around 6 am and heads straight to his club bar. Just how he has done it for his whole life. Sort of an ex-military dude. Nice guy. 

I always think of Casper from "KIDS" when he wakes up and starts sipping leftover forties and shit... fuck that lifestyle lol. I used to hang with homies that did that shit.

 

Here is something I'd really like to know:

Do any of yall have a "morning drink"? Like a Bloody Mary or something? I like the idea but cant say I've ever found myself in the right mood to have a strong sip at breakfast. Do you do it? Do you stop at the once drink or keep it going?  

An old boss of mine every once n awhile would pour shots of Jamaican rum for us at 6 in the mo. Wasn't too bad a way to start the day but blah.

I enjoy a LIT at lunch sometimes.

I have seen the studies about how no matter what form the alcohol is in, be it beer or wine or spirits, that the buzz is exactly the same. Because we all have had stories about how we get "a different or certain kind of drunk" off of different things.

I know, technically, that the studies must be true. 

However, the power of the mind overcomes this one for me. 

For instance, I have turned into a malicious madman from gin in the past. And some whiskey. It seems like those two always got me the craziest. And beer is more chill and heavier (perhaps due to the physical calorie weight influence) etc

But the one I stand by the most is that for some reason, I have been able to drink regular proof rums to the extreme. Without going overboard. Like straight up rum in a glass, after glass. Stayed lucid and not too drunk. Just a weird brain bias, I guess. I'm sure I was drunk as fuck.

Unlike OMD, I do not dispose of horrible tasting alcoholic beverages. I consume them. I am working on my third “natty daddy” which means I have had more daddys than Neil Patrick harris’s kids. Can’t wait to see what that family dresses like for Halloween. It’s always impressive

I have this one dude who collects can's for redemption each small can is 5 cents and the bigger cans are 20 cents so this guy looks for them everywhere but every now and then the dude finds full cases of beer or full bottles of liquor.

deps stop selling beer at 11PM and bars stop selling beer at 3AM so sometimes people buy cases of beer and hide them for an afterparty and this dude always calls me and sells me the beers/bottles of liquor for $10  a pop

I almost always feel bad for whoever party got fucked over but hey cheap booze is amazing and god know's poor Rueben need's the cash 

4 lokos do not taste of alcohol at all they taste like a melted mr freeze

you can chug a whole can easy 

I personally loved the cherry and watermelon one

they don't sell them here anymore because some 13 year old girl shoplifted a can and was found drowned in a ditch a few hours later
