So I have some bad news to go with it.Im not sure yet if I will be able to go to the gathering this year because I got a new job.I dont start until monday so when I go I will have to ask them if I can get those dates off for the gathering.My friend hit me up today and told me the good news that I start on monday.If I dont get to go this year then maybe next year if I can get the $$ together.Will update here and let yall know if project VD can still happen or not.This job is awesome btw.same shit I was doin driving sprinter vans everywhere but now im full time..fuck yes.

Good for you ninja…Im still ready to donate if its needed…but I understand not wanting to rock the boat in your first six months. I trained about 15 employees at my store between August and October and few things were more annoying then habitual tardiness and excessive (albeit excused) absences. This one chick came in her first day with a calendar that had every day she needed off in the next two months (she filled out an availability sheet saying she could work anytime on the weekend, but had every weekend day highlighted so we fired her). I hope shit works out so you can make it home ninja…

I still need to ask them to find out if I can get it off.My homie said dont count on it because its the middle of summer and we will be busy as fuck since thats when everyone is on vacation and wants to rent a sprinter van.I will find out for sure on monday though.

as a general rule most places don’t give you vacation time until after your first year, but hey congrats on the job homie

My boss at my cleaning job came up to me literally this morning and told me that I’m due for paid vacation time. I had absolutely no idea that he paid for vacation. I’ve been there about a year now, I’m guessing. But this guy doesn’t tax, so its like self employment when tax season comes around. Glad I have my college job to help me with taxes or else I’d be screwed.
But I haven’t had a job that paid vacation hours in years. Pat, my loc, jobs at this point in american history don’t offer SHIT. I’m depressibgly greatful for the two gigs I have now.
