it means, ‘i am aroused.’
i dont think you were using that… expression… two years ago.
by all means, though, use it if you want to.
just dont act so surprised when people dont take it the right way, and laugh at you. one can hardly blame them, when you cannot be bothered to press more than one key to express yourself.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I will never understand why people use synthetic drugs when the real earth shit is so good…..
Fuck off, homie. I grew my own shrooms for over a decade and had almost free access to herbs as well. I love and respect psilocybin, psilocin, THC, mescaline, dimethyltryptamine, etc.. but at this point in my life, with kids, two jobs, etc . . I would enjoy some “synthetic happiness”. . My shrooms are legendary around here too. The strongest were probably the PF Classics, and the weakest definitely the Malaysians. But I’ve done many strains. I’d still do it if I had my own land (no landlord).

I don’t trust it.
But yeah, on that note, I don’t mind that Twiztid was always stoner friendly, but I really hope they don’t become another junkie rap group. These “wasted” songs are decent, but I hope people don’t just go to their shows to turn into useless fat slobs leaning on me for support. Fuck dat.
I’ve never heard either Wasted track.

A fellow PF grower? My wife and I used to grow those. We grew them on vermiculite and rice cakes from spore syringes. And I agree, they were the best. The experience can only be explained as “clean”. Anyway, that was another life almost 2 decades ago.

I can definitely appreciate Mono’s tone in the interview. SOMEbody needs to take the aggressive every *once in a while but i think they need to dial back on the “saving lives” bit. Yes. Music changes and saves lives. Twiztid makes good music. Let’s not all crawl up their ass about it. LDLHA messed with *me for weeks after and still hits close to home and I would love to tell them how much it helped(helps) me in a bad patch but… I don’t want them going around wearing it like a badge. That’s from me to you, not for you and them. I also don’t want them to start making it a point to start throwing out “motivational” tracks on every LP they make like some kinda Katy Perry/Pink shit. I got no problem being “spoken to” by my music but it ain’t hard to speak to teenagers about how much their parents suck and their lives are crap. The Disney Channel does enough of that shit to 12yr olds. There’s plenty of people into Twiztid and Psychopathic that’re [way]over the age of 20 that need a voice too.
As far as the SNL stuff goes, c’mon… Some of it’s funny. Ass Dan? That’s fuckin’ funny. (gonna show my age here) Just ask old skool goth kids how “fucked up” the Goth Chat sketches were back in the day. Back before there ever was a Hot Topic or “Emo” was a thing to have their scene co-opted and turned into a fashion choice and not a sub-culture no one knew anything about (but then again one of the sketches had a hot-ass Charlese Theron in it and Juggalos get Ass Dan). Parady is one thing, mockery is another. When they start showing people in face paint, I’ll be ALL OVER that shit but I really think the sketches are more about festivals in general. Psy just gets used as the design of the sketches because of the infomercials but they’re also taking shots at alt-fests and grunge rock concerts. C’mon… Mrs. Potato Dick? lol? Not defending SNL at all. We’ll just have to see what they spew after they see this month’s infomercial.
I also kinda cringe at the “next 25 years of wicked shit” comment. I know Twiztid and Psy have set aside their differences and have done their best to straighten people out on all that shit *but. So what, like, they’re sayin’ Psy is dead? I *love Twizted. I honestly prefer them most over other Psy artists. They got my money/love for years to come but c’mon. That’s like sayin’ that Twiztid is the only lightning Psy is able to catch in a bottle and the best thing that will be ever be coming out of the label ever again. So I guess Twiztid is the Michael Jackson to Psychopathic’s Jackson 5? Kinda messed up (if I’m getting that right). Somebody needs to relisten to “Down With The Clown”…
Much love to Twiztid. I guess they just caught Mono when he had some shit to say (Jamie seemed oddly quiet).

Yes Sir, PF Fanaticus in the house lol! I did the same, 2/3 cup vermiculite, 1/4 cup brown rice flour and 1/4 cup water in half pint Ball jelly jars. will remember those measurements as long as I live or am mentally able dawg. There’s other ways to do it nowadays, rye seed whathaveyou, but I always stuck with my original method. I decided to quit because of having kids, but I will again someday.
I’ve got a novel’s worth of growing those things lol. I was never in it for the money, as I didn’t make much off them anyway, but more for exploration and “turning people on” like a Juggalo Timothy Leary. They all rocked except the Malaysians; you could munch those fresh like Doritos and not trip too hard. My wife only ate them a few times, as she preferred acid and DXM.
Any notable fungal stories mayn?

Prolly not for this thread since I’ve already started derailing this one unintentionally but I did the DXM thing too (acid-base extraction – cleave off the hydrobromide and re-acidify as a hydrochloride acid salt.). Never sold anything, just did it for fam for free.
Sorry for the tangent there… Anyways, I imagine what he said in my mind but I would have liked to hear an audio version of the interview. It’s harder to interpret intention in just text.

No Point of make a new thread for it. Here is another Interview with Twiztid.
Detroit Hip-Hop duo Twiztid – Jamie Madrox and Monoxide – just released ‘For The Fam Volume 2′ free mixtape and their ‘Get Twiztid’ EP via INgrooves. The 5 track EP, featuring Chris Webby, Da Mafia 6ix, Kung Fu Vampire, R.A. The Rugged Man, and Whitney Peyton, gives fans a small taste of what is to come for Twiztid in 2014.
Twiztid’s ‘Bootleg Banner Tour 2014′ (with special guests Blaze Ya Dead Homie & Smokehouse Junkiez) just kicked off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. So there’s no better time to talk with Jamie Madrox about their theatrical, outrageous, clever and intoxicating dark Hip-Hop…Pinted faces…Saving lives…Senseless jumps from the stage and…Getting drunk with Adam West.
Let’s talk about your new mixtape, 4 The Fam. What were your influences whilst writing this record?
With the 4 The Fam Mixtape as well as pretty much anything we record our influences are usually the fam and us raising the bar so to speak. We always strive to out do our last recordings. This way of thinking always keeps us on top of our game and leaves everyone including us wanting more.
Tell us 5 things we should know about Twiztid
Ok…
- We are music’s best kept secret…meaning that unlike mainstream artists you actually have to seek us and our music out -but it’s worth it.
- Our music provides a release for our listeners and according to many of them it has “saved their lives” and for that alone I am truly honored.
- We are a comic book inspired horror movie on wax.
- Not only do we do music but we are actors and business men as well.
- We do what we do, and we have all that we have because of the “Family”
Tell us a bit about your early days and how they differ from now.
Much like any profession, you live and learn as you go. We have always been blessed to have that special something that people call “shine” “charisma” or “talent” but we’ve never let that go to our heads. We watched others’ careers go up and down, and studied the greats, soaking up the “how to” remain relevant and hone our craft and always push ourselves to be the absolute best we can be. I think the difference from now to then is that we are more confident entertainers, knowledgeable business men, and seasoned professionals.
Tell us about your tour and why we should be there.
Monoxide and I always put on a good show leaving it all on the stage each and every night for everyone who took the time to represent for us and come out to see us perform. We are the most energetic, foul mouthed, talented painted faces in the game that rock the dead and kick the ass of the living! So if you never been to one of our shows… what the fuck are you waiting for?
What is one unforgettable tour memory?
Many years ago Monoxide and I were playing this huge outdoor show and the stage was kinda far from the barricade. The crowd kept waving their hands as if they were saying “come on dude stage dive over here” or maybe it was the drugs conversating in my mind…. either way I took a senseless jump from the stage and landed chest first on the barricade and slid to the floor like Wile E Coyote from the loony tunes cartoons. I was pushed back on stage by 3 security guards and the chants of “One more time, One more time” peppered the stage from the same area…. so of course my dumb ass jumps chest first on the barricade again. I remember Monoxide being like “good work …yall killed em”, the same 3 security guards put me back on stage and needless to say that’s were I’ve stayed from then on =on stage! lol
What is your favorite thing to see in the audience while you are on stage?
Titties, hands, middle fingers, signs, titties, painted faces…sorry i couldn’t just pick one.
What’s the best and worst thing about playing clubs?
the best thing in my opinion is that clubs provide a level of intimacy. It’s us and the crowd and you can see all their faces… it can be perfect sometimes. The worst thing about it is that Monoxide and I like to aspire to do more theatrical production and with the club scene it can be very hard to fly to stage on tension wires, levitate or have electricity pulsating through giant tesla coils left and right of the stage for example.
What kind of music do you listen to when you are on the road?
Mostly I have the Beatles, MCR, Korn, Slipknot, SevenDust, some R&B & oldies in my playlist, those are my go to joints to unwind at the end of the day.
If you could get drunk with any woman or man, who would it be?
I would honestly have to say Adam West. That guy’s my fucking hero! I can only imagine the dope ass Batman stories he would gratuitously produce after 4 or 17 shots of Patrone.
