Admittedly I’m not very active on this forum, and I don’t have the background to go into detail on this bizarre bloodfued between Scruff and Smack, but I suppose I have my opinions, same as anyone else.

 

What little I’ve seen of Smack on the forum has been him instigating things with Scruffy. I’m not saying he’s the only one contributing to the fire — like I said, I lack the background — but my experience has been him, calling out Scruffy without any immediate provocation.

 

The fact that this is something the community is dividing itself on is…disturbing. Mr. Tidwell got functionally ostracized for things a lot less egregious than what I’ve seen Smack do. Is this the sort of fam we want to be, where good intentions (overbearing though they might be) are considered a bigger problem than constant in-fighting?

 

Even if — and I grant this because, once more, I lack background — Scruffy was instigating, it doesn’t excuse Smack’s demonstrated bad behavior. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind, and all that. Smack has, apparently, become a big enough problem that we’ve taken this to vote, and I think that’s pretty telling.

 

Just my two cents.  

What’s disturbing about differing opinions? Could be just as telling that this vote only included the potential fate of one forum member, and lacked the beloved NOTA (None Of The Above) selection.

NOTA seems a way of registering an opinion regarding limited voting options, whereas a non-vote likely goes unnoticed.

Others may have forgot but I personally watched you help smack trash scruffy, shaman, ocj and krunk.

You and smack are lucky krunk is a good person and Psyral too because I remember y’all calling her a scrimmage and a member of the smack fan club. They defend you because they are good people not because smack was right
