Two dead and it makes INTERNATIONAL HEADLINES ???????

I guarantee less than a quarter of Boston's population knows about the 3 thousand or more killed in Halifax during World War 1….

hjhahahahah……who was I kidding?

I wonder how Yankee fans react when Beantown boys are up in their place, later this year.

Or how Boston even registers under the rest of America during the next year.

It took Hitler less time to conquer Poland than it took the BPD to get one guy off a boat, that wasn't even in the water. Adolf is turning in his grave.........

bpd doesnt have panzer divisions, nor a guderian to run them.  blitzkrieg is impossible without armored cavalry.

beyond that, how you gonna use hitler as a positive example?  seriously, fuckin hitler?  ugh.

about the measurement of tragedy by body count, novocaine is right, doesnt matter how few die, its still tragic.

there were over a dozen bombings in iraq the same day.  havent seen any body counters drum up sympathy for them yet.  and those bombings are also tragic, they deserve the sympathy, too.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

well, scruff, those bombings are a world away from us. If it doesn't happen to "our people" then it doesn't matter.

I'm really surprised that they didn't kill the mother fucker. My guess is the higher ups wanted connections to extremist groups.

That's usually my remark when someone looks at a news report like this and tells me how sad it is. Not that it isn't but holy shit, the news confuses me with what's really important at times.

for a serious operator, getting the subject alive is generally a much, much higher priority than revenge.

Just using Adolf because his birthday was the day that he got captured. So i've been told. Was on  TV here in Mass for about 8 hours before they got him off the boat. It was meant to be humorous, couldn't believe it took that long to get a single man off a boat that was docked in someone's backyard.......sitting on blocks.......oh yeah, he was injured too. BPD was all alround him, no blitzkrieg needed. All I was saying.

All I could think of, as an excuse, was that they were waiting for the TV crews to leave so they could shoot him. Didn't happen. I'm sure if they did shoot and kill him, ol' ill would be beside himself with grief.

they didnt run up and snatch him because they didnt want to take the chance of being blown up.  i dont blame them.

trust me, the police that were around him were pros; real, knowledgeable, tactical operators, not dumbass beat cops.  they wanted to get him alive, if they could.

and they could.  and they did.

job well done.

A bomber held up in a boat where police can't tell if he has bombs on him. You're a fucking idiot.

tell that to dorner lol

I can understand why they wanted the kid alive.. Me though? it was open and shut for me. No trial necessary. He doesn't deserve 3 hots and a cot for 25 years until he finally is next to be executed...

We should start expediting executions, save some taxpayer money

for that kid, execution is a mercy.

life in prison would be a hell of a lot harder for him, especially if he was incarcerated in massachusetts.

an eye for an eye if you ask me. Then again, I don't make the rules I just follow them. This might sound fucking weird, but i'd MUCH rather be in prison than be dead.

Plus like i said, pat and the other fine people of MA are gonna be paying for his stay. Why waste the money?

I disagree scruffy, it's not a job well done. Who would care if they killed him? Does he deserve to live, or as slumerican said, waste taxpayer money being alive? I don't think so, at least they killed one of them. I'm honestly just tired of hearing about it. And the BPD? You just gave them WAY too much credit. Trust me on that one. Not your typical beat cops? I'm guessing you've never dealt with them.

bpd has what some might call 'elite' cops, just like any other large city.  even then, not all of the cordon was local.  the fbi hrt was involved, those fuckers are basicly rainbow six.

imagine youre a watch commander.  you have a bomber on the loose.  do you send scrubs in patrol cars to get him, or swat teams?

try not to get agitated.  by the time we get the full play-by-play, youll care even less.

i dont expect that theres was a grand conspiracy behind it all, but we cant be a hundred percent sure without the fullest possible investigation.  maybe not even then.

on the other hand, if they killed him, hed be a hundred percent dead.  you cannot get information from dead guys.

babyfaced 19 year old whos world famous as a terrorist?  he would have a really lousy time in prison.  id gladly pay my sales tax for that.  certainly, in his case.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?
