Recently my hard drive completely shat itself, so when i was restoring all my music on my itunes i found a few cds i forgot i had and loved and have no idea why they got taken off my itunes playlists.

the main ones were

ICP – The tempest (i loved this album so much, cos at the time it was one of the only albums i owned a hardcopy of so it lived in my car hahaha)

ABK – dirty history/Hatchet warrior (i think after these albums abk went downhill. and now i just plain dont like him at all.)

Blaze – Colton Grundy (same as the tempest, it was one of the few cds i had an original copy of so it got hammered ALL the time)

Anyone else in this boat? re-live things you forgot you loved here!

It might sound really weird, but every time I introduce somebody to a psychopathic cd, it allows me to jump into their shoes and remember what it was like the first time I had heard that particular cd. For that one play through, it’s like im listening to it for the first time all over again.

So I know what you are talking about here, just don’t have any examples as of late

Ahh nostalgia, it’s like chasing that first hit of crack

nothing to do with music, but today i dug up a leather coat that i had stopped using maybe four or five years ago, because it was kinda worn.

i put it on, and was like, ‘fuck the wear and tear, this coat is the shit!’

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

The wicked shit in general.  Not getting all sentimental and shit, but not long ago I was going thru a really hard time, trying to get rid of all my old shit, especially my CD’s cuz I got way too many, and I stumbled upon my old collection of psychopathic CD’s from back in the day.  It all started with an old copy of a Tales from the Lotus Pod that I burned incase I lost my original…I haven’t stopped listening to the wicked shit since that day and it was at that moment I rediscovered who I am as a person and what is important to me…yeah that got kinda emo sorry HaHa just bein honest though.

People can be really close minded when it comes to music. I guess any media in general.. We get these pre-conceived notions of what we think something is gonna sound like, and automatically write it off before we REALLY give it a listen. I do it too, which is why when I listen to a cd for the first time, I have a ritual of listening to it by myself with no distractions. That way I can soak it all in and give myself an honest opinion. I haven’t broke this ritual for many a years

ninja turtles cartoon from the 90s and the first movie. I always said they were my favorites when I was younger but never watched them since I was a kid. Now I find myself watching them on youtube and I don’t care who judges me for it. Fuck em, I’m gonna watch me some ninja turtles, bitch.

the first flick, and about the first 20 or so issues of the comic, were not bad.  and they hold up.

i have a feeling that if i tried to watch the cartoon again, id groan alot.  but i havent tried, either.

Brother, I still go back and watch the first two movies every once in awhile. I have most of the two movies memorized from constant vhs playback as a child. The nostalgia factor doesn’t come into play for me on those because they both are well done movies. I loved raph’s character. That batman-esque tortured soul type character

I was moving about a month and a half ago, dug up my old N64 with some games. Basically I have been nostalgic ever since, replaying Banjo-Kazooie game, Mario 64, but most of all Zelda OoT. My fuck do I love that game, except the Water Temple. Fuck that temple.

Roll a fat one and you’d be surprised. A lot of stuff kids wouldn’t even understand in some of the comments. It could be my childhood memories kicking in or something but it’s a trip. You could get the same reaction and I highly recommend it.

I hadn’t watched the sequel till the other day and I forgot how decent it was. The fights were made more for kids but it was still funny. Raph was the best in the first, for sure. Casey Jones is the shit ,too.

I’m fucked up and I’m going to watch the 3rd one right now. I don’t think I’ve seen it since it came out.
